"How do you always get here so fast?"

"My class is right there" He points to the classroom across from the gym

"Oh, don't you need to go to your locker?"

He shakes his head and I notice he doesn't have a backpack. We walk quickly to my locker and I grab my things. My backpack is light tonight without all the textbooks. I walk out the doors with Harry and I skip over to his car, turning around and smiling when I reach it first.

"A little excited to go home?" He asks and I shrug

We get in the car and he slowly makes his way out of the parking lot behind all the other students.

"Okay, now it's time for twenty questions" I smile and he groans

"Thats not fair, I won't get to ask any"

"That's the point" I giggle "What's your favourite thing here so far?"

"The view from up high. It reminds me of New York, but on a way, way smaller level"

"Do you like New York?"

"It's my second favourite place, aside from home. There are always people around, so even when you feel super lonely, you can always find someone to talk to"

"If today was the last day of your life, what would you do?"

"Take you to Brisbane and show you around" He smiles and glances down at me while I roll my eyes

"Seriously"

"I am serious"

"You would spend the last hours of your life with someone you met a month and a half ago? What about your family?"

"Well, I would bring Gem of course, but other than that, you're the only one who really cares what's going on in my life and you're the only person I really talk to"

"Oh" I breathe and try to take in what he just told me "What's your favourite quote?"

" 'Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.' " He says, as if he is reading it from something.

"Who said that?"

"Elbert Hubbard"

"I don't know who that is" I shrug

"Me either. I just like the quote"

"Would you break the law to save someone?"

"Depends on who it is"

"What do you mean?"

"If it was Gem or you or Delaney or Xavier or Emma, maybe, but other than that, I don't think so"

"Okay" I say, and look out the window as we pull in to my driveway.

I hop out of his car and run inside, Harry right on my heel. I put my bag down and meet Harry in the kitchen.

"Do you want anything?"

"Im good" He grins and shows me the DVD in his hands.

"Where'd you get that from?"

"My car. I bought it last night"

"Wait, weren't you supposed to take Katie and Gemma to the mall?"

"My dad thought I was going with them. He always wants someone watching Gemma" He rolls his eyes

I don't say anything and instead, walk to the living room. Harry hands me the DVD and sits on the couch. I put it in the player, grab the remove and sit down next to him, the butterflies in my stomach on overdrive. His long arm is across the couch and I turn so I am laying, curled in a ball. It's not super comfortable, but my other options are lay on the floor or put my feet on Harry, which I don't think he would appreciate. I wait for the ads to finish playing and I hear Harry chuckle.
