Troye's POV:
I watched Noah with fascination as she trawled through numerous blogs on tumblr.
I observed the way she'd wrinkle her nose whenever she found something funny, or sigh when the Internet was being slow. I adored her.
"See something you like?"
I was snapped out of my daydream to see Noah had become aware I was staring her. She now had her arms folded, and her eyebrows were raised as if she were a teacher about to scold me.
"As a matter of fact, I do." I said, watching her blush as I delivered the sentence.
I stood and walked over to her, leaning down and closing my eyes.
"This coke looks so cold and...delicious!" I leaned past her an grabbed her can of diet coke from the side table next to her.
"You dick," she said, slapping my arm playfully.
"Hey, language. We're in the presence of a little human." I whispered, flopping down next to her and gulping the remains of her beverage.
She snorted.
"He hasn't even developed ears yet,"
"He?" I questioned.
She blushed, twisting her body away from me.
"I just have a feeling it's a boy." She mumbles.
I laugh and watch as she rises from the couch and paces her living room, going nowhere in particular. She bites her lip, gnawing at it the way she does when she wants to say something.
"What is it?" I sigh
She gazes at me and smiles shyly.
"Nothing..." She sighs twirling a long dark curl around her finger.
"Bullshit," I smirk, seeing through her bluff. I know all her gimmicks.
"We're in the presence of a little human!" She imitates me, putting her hands on her hips theatrically.
I roll my eyes at her, playfully.
"So what is it? Seriously I know when something's up, babe"
She flinched when I said the word "babe". I'd never used it with her, but it just rolled off my tongue naturally. I didn't have to think about it.
"It's just..." She lowered her gaze sheepishly "you won't think I'm..sexy when I'm 9 months pregnant and looking like a beached whale."
I stood up and sauntered over to her.
How could a creature so beautiful even think that?I put a hand on her waist and buried my head in her neck.
"You don't need to be slim to be sexy," I mumbled into her neck, making her shiver. "And there's not much you can do about it anyway. You're carrying a tiny human after all,"
I felt her jaw relax as she smiled. I couldn't see it, but I could tell it was a genuine one.
"You'd make a sexy whale." I whispered in her ear.
She pushed me off of her and glared at me playfully, though I could tell she wanted to burst out laughing.
"You're terrible at trying to be enticing." She said, shaking her head at me.
"How about now?" I offered, pulling my top over my head slowly.
"Eh. Could be better." She said, knowing where this was going. Her sea foam coloured eyes flashing a challenge to me.
