A/N:
BEFORE I START THIS PART I WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 1K READS. I NEVER IMAGINED WE WOULD ACTUALLY GET THIS FAR OR THAT PEOPLE WOULD ACTUALLY LIKE MY WRITING. THANK YOU SM ILY ALL. ENJOY A NEW PARTTroye's POV:
I had never known how much I despised hospitals up until this point. The chemical smell, the fake smiles of the nurses, the rattling sound of an elderly patients breath. It all got under my skin, causing me to want to get the hell out of there, as soon as possible.
But now, that wasn't an option.Noah had been stabbed.
The doctors said if I had found her, even minutes later, she wouldn't have survived.
A cloud of guilt hung solemnly over my head, raining thoughts of self depreciation, in regular intervals.
I'm a stupid, neglectful boyfriend.
A fool, that can't even protect the people he loves.
Useless..."Mr Sivan..?"
I jerked my head upwards, to see who the person who interrupted my thoughts was.
"Uh, hello," I murmured, glancing sheepishly at the doctor standing over me. The tag attached to her pale pink scrubs read ~ Dr Tanner
"We have some good news, and some bad news." The young doctor's eyes widen as she assesses my haggard appearance.
"I can come back later," she adds fleetingly, taking into account the bags forming under my eyes.I shook my head ruefully. "No, please. Tell me all the good news, first."
"Right," a small smile grows on Dr Tanner's face as she continues " we ran some tests on your girlfriend shortly after she was brought in, and it turns out, she's pregnant!"
I choked on the mineral water I was sipping at that exact moment.
"Mr Sivan!" The doctor exclaimed, patting me on the back vigorously.
"S-she's pregnant?" I repeated
The doctor nodded.
"About a month and a half in, too."
How could it be that whilst things seemed to be falling apart, they also appeared to be coming together as well.
We had always had plans to get married first, and then think about having a family, but I guess fate had other plans.
I grinned stupidly to myself, forgetting that anyone else was in the room entirely.I was going to be a father,
"Ahem,"
I looked up and was reminded that Dr Tanner was still standing over me, looking rather uncomfortable.
"So can I see her?"I questioned, eagerly.
"Oh, of course! B-but you see the trouble is..." She trailed off, picking at her clipboard.
"Is..?"
"She's been put in an induced coma for the time being. We think it's for the best, since she has extensive liver damage due to the stab wound. It would give her a chance to heal, without any distractions."
"She's what? But you said she's pregnant! What about our baby?"
"We've factored all that in. We're keeping an eye on her hormone levels, and her scans will go ahead as normal."
"Scans?" I chuckled nervously "but, she'll be awake by the time she needs scans."
Dr Tanner looked away quickly, her eyes glistening, threatening to tear up.
"She could be unconscious for as long as 9 months, Mr Sivan. I hate to say this, but there is also a possibility she may not wake up."

A few days later..."Troye, we're so sorry," Alfie said, solemnly
A group of sorrowful and guilt stricken faces stared at me, waiting for a response.
I was sick of hearing that. Almost everyday, somebody was apologising. Apologising for something they hadn't done.
Marcus coughed uncomfortably, as he sensed my irritation.
"Listen, Troye-Boy, we're with you every step of the way." Tyler piped up, plastering on a wide smile for me, although I could see the pain behind it, like a badly painted wall, where you could still see the brickwork underneath the paint.
I smirked, shaking my head at his enthusiasm.
"Thank you Tilly. Thank you, everyone." I said, quietly, never letting go of Noah's pale hand, which I had been squeezing, subconsciously.
"We should be going," Tyler began, glancing back at his husband fleetingly.
"We'll be back tomorrow, though. Get some rest, Troye. Go home. The nurses and doctors have everything under control." Tyler leaned down to the chair I was sitting in an squeezed me tightly.
I nodded, although I had already rejected his advice.
Everyone began to file out, and I looked down at Noah's arm. Almost translucent with it's multiple tubes constantly reminding me of what had happened, and why.
I was so engrossed in staring at her lifeless hands, that I didn't realise there was another figure left standing in the hospital room.
I looked up quickly, and as I saw Zoe, standing there, nibbling at her nails, I sighed.
She stepped forward and took my hand from where it was placed on Noah's and put it in her own.
"I-I just wanted to say... I'm always here to help. Alfie and I, we've rented an apartment not far from here. If you need food, a place to stay, whatever, you just come over, okay?" She spoke quietly, as though she didn't want anyone else to overhear.
"Thanks, Zo." I returned the smile as best I could.
She leaned down to hug me, and rubbed her hands against my back in circular motions.
I went to pull away, but it seemed like she wasn't ready yet, so I allowed her to embrace me for a minute longer, before clearing my throat.
"See you, Troye."
I watched her, perplexed, as she bounced out of the room in a cloud of perfume.
