"When will we reach there?" Nandini asked
this question thousand times to Manik on
their way to Disneyland Park.
"We will be there soon honey..!!" It was
Manik's reply everytime. Neither for once
Manik got angry on her constant
questioning nor he scolded her. During the
whole way Nandini was constantly
blabbering what she will do there and
Manik was constantly nodding his head
carefully listening to her each word.
At last the driver told them that they are
here. Manik and Nandini got down of the
car. Manik was busy in talking the driver
and Nandini looked forward. Her eyes
widened with joy. Her dream was in front of
her eyes. She was too much busy in gazing
at the entrance that Manik patted her
shoulder.
"Nandini..!!" Manik called her. "Lets go..!!"
Saying that Manik almost dragged a hell
engrossed Nandini towards the entrance.
They check in and finally they are in
the disneyland. The sight in front of Nandini
was making her crazy. She saw lots of rides.
And a glimpse of sleeping Beauty Castle.
Lot's of people walking here and there.
Nandini saw lot's of cartoon characters.
Then at last she spotted Mickey mouse and
her eyes shined with excitement. Manik was
just standing there arms crossed on his
chest. He was just mesmerizing Nandini and
her excitement. She was too much happy.
"Manik..!! Look Mickey Mouse..!!" She
shouted and shook Manik's hand .
"Then go and shake hand with him..!!"
Manik said smilingly. Nandini nodded and
run towards Mickey. Manik was smiling at
her then suddenly he saw her she stopped
and turned her face. Manik signed her to go
but what she did next make Manik felt so
love. She run back towards Manik and
hugged him tightly. Manik hugged her back
and hugging her picked up a little from
floor.
"'Thank you so much Manik...! I love you
loads..!!" Nandini whispered in his ear.
"I love you too..!!" Manik said lovingly
breaking the hug. "Now go..!!" Manik said
and Nandini nodded. She was about to walk
towards the cartoons when suddenly they
heard a loud summon tone.
"What was that?" Manik asked confusingly
looking here and there. Nandini jumped in
excitement.
"Manik what is the time?" Nandini asked
excitedly.
"It's 4:30 Nandini..!!" Manik said still
confused. "But why are you asking time?"
"Wow..!!" Nandini jumped in excitement.
"Manik..!! It's disney parade time..!!"
"What parade?" Manik asked.
"Uffooo Manik not just a parade
it's disney parade..!!Disneyland has a parade
at 4:30 pm everyday where all the Disney
characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald duck,
tinker bell, Cinderella, aurora, belle, walk in
the parade..!!" Nandini explained Manik and
made a face that not knowing
about disney parade was a crime. Manik
lowered his head as if he was really a
criminal.
"It's ok Manik main hoon na..!! I know
everything about Disneyland..!!" Nandini
boasted and Manik held his smile. In reality
Manik knew each and everything about
Disneyland but he just wanted Nandini to
take lead this time. In his point of view this
will help her to increase her confidence
level.
Soon the parade started and Nandini run
towards the characters. They were doing
parade and dancing Nandini too joined
them. They happily accepted her in their
parade. Nandini was laughing and playing
with them. Manik was just smiling at her. All
the characters were talking with her. There
was too much noise that Manik didn't
figured out what they were talking. He
realized that he was the topic of discussion
when he saw Nandini pointing towards him
then all the characters started walking
towards him. Manik become conscious and
stood straight. Nandini came and stood
beside him. All the characters were now
watching him and if he was one of the seven
wonders of the world.
"Hi..!!" Manik waved hesitantly to all the
characters. And they all showed him their
teeth. Mickey mouse came forward and
shook hand with Manik.
"So..!! You are the husband of this beautiful
senorita..!!" Mickey mouse said smilingly.
"Yes Mr.Mickey he is my husband..!!"
Nandini said excitedly that was it all the
characters pounced upon Manik and started
shaking hand with him. Manik was feeling
himself a fool he was surprised that why
everyone was giving him this much protocol.
Manik looked confusingly at Nandini.
""So..!! Will you sing something for us..!"
Phinokio asked adjusting his nose. And
Manik was like what?
"Nandini kya bola hai tum nay mery bary
main
ya mjhy gana gany ko kion bool rahy hain?"
Manik asked worriedly to Nandini in hindi
so that others don't understand what they
are talking.
"Manik..!! Myny in ko btaya k mery pati dev
bht achy singer hain..!! Tou bus in
sab ny mjhy bola kay ya tumhara gana
sun'na chahty hain..!!" Nandini explained
innocently in hindi and Manik felt like
banging his head in wall. He was too much
annoyed on Nandini's this kind of efficiency.
Now all the cartoon were shaking him badly
they want him to sing for them.
"Nandini ni..!!" Manik said helplessly.
"Manik come on for me please..!!" Nandini
pleaded.
"Ok fine..!! But you have to sing with me..!!"
Manik said accepting his defeat.
"Ok done..!!" Nandini said happily.
"So everyone..!! You have to arrange a
guitar..!!"Manik said and within no time
guitar was there.
"What you want me to sing everyone?
Bollywood? Hollywood?" Manik asked
casually and they all clapped and hooted for
him.
"We want to hear some bollywood special..!!
You know many singers come here but not
an indian..!! So please" This time Minnie
Mouse requested and Manik
smilingly nodded .

(Manik sang moving around Nandini nodding his
head and Nandini too nodded her head)

(Manik sang and poked Nandini's shoulder. All the
characters were just hooting and clapping for him)

(Manik sang and held Nandini's arms. Nandini improvised
by saying "Ek Main")

(Manik pull her towards him and she poked his
chest by saying "Ekk Tu")

(Manik sang and winked at her. She nodded and
also winked by sinigng "I am with you")

Thoda muskura [Ekk tu]

(Manik sang and both smiled at each other)

(Nandini sang and started to dance with all the
characters)

(MaNan sang and made a train with all the
characters and started walking many of the other
people too joined them)

(Nandini jumped out of the train and sang jumping
at her place Manik improvised by giving her guitar
nodes)

(Nandini sang and dragged Manik with her again
started dancing all the people and cartoon followed
her lead)

(Manik sang and twirled all the female cartoon like
Cinderella, snow, belle and aurora with him)

(MaNan sang and made every character dance with
them. Nandini danced with mickey mouse)

hands on each other's shoulder and started walking
along)

(They stopped near a pool)

(Manik sang and took some water in his palm.
He throw water on Nandini's face)

(Nandini sang standing on the edge of the pool and
extended her arms in the air looking towards the
sky)

(Manik sang anu pull her down nodding his head)

(Manik sang and pulled her cheeks to make her

(Everyone hooted and jupmed with MaNan)

(MaNan sang together dancing and jumping with
everyone)
"Bravo..!! Marvelous..!!" Everyone shouted
and jumped on Manik for a hug. Manik
wasn't ready for this sudden act he fell on
the floor and all the cartoon fell on him in
excitement. Nandini was laughing her heart
out.
"Guys..!!" Manik said trying to push them
away from him because they all were very
heavy. Few of them were pulling his cheeks
and some of them were ruffling his hair.
Most of them were tickling him. But in vain
because Manik don't feel ticklish. After a lot
of pleading by Manik they all let him go.
Manik got up and tried to hide himself
behind Nandini.
"Nandu save me please..!!" Manik said in a
worried tone and Nandini was laughing
holding her stomach.
"Manik it's their love..!!" Nandini said
naughtily.
"For how many days you both are here?"
Donald Duck asked excitedly.
"A week probably..!!"Before Manik could say
something Nandini said and Manik palmed
his face he wanted to tell a lie that they will
not come here again but Nandini uff..!!
"Great..!! Then you will sing everyday with
us right?" This time Bugs Bunny came
forward and dragged Manik behind
Nandini. All of the cartoon were looking at
Manik waiting for his approval. Manik
wanted to say no but all of them were
looking at him with so much hope that he
nodded his head. All of them again jumped
in joy and again run towards Manik for a
hug. Seeing this Manik become horrified also
run and hide himself behind Nandini she
again laughed.
"Ok guys hold on..!!" Nandini stopped
everyone and they all stopped. With lot of
convincing they all let MaNan go.

"Oh God..!! All of them..!!" Manik was still
thinking about them and Nandini was
laughing at him.
"Where you wanna go first..!!" Manik asked
Nandini holding her hand.
"Umm..!! Sleeping Beauty Castle..!!" Nandini
said excitedly and Manik nodded. They
walked towards the castle. And Nandini was
again dumbstruck with the beauty and
imagination of the Castle. Everything was
the same as she dreamt. She was froze at her
place.
"Yahen khari raho ge? Don't you wanna go
in?" Manik asked dragging her inside. The
inside of the Castle was more beautiful.
Nandini was just walking here and there
mesmerizing everything, touching and
tracing her fingers on everything with.
Manik was quietly following her smiling all
the time. There were lots of pictures hanging
on the wall. There was a picture of
Princess Aruro and Prince Philips. Nandini
stopped in front of that picture. Manik look
at the picture he smiled.
"Why are you staring at this picture
Nandini?" Manik asked smilingly and
Nandini too smiled.
"Manik..!! You know who are they?" Nandini
asked looking in his eyes. Manik shook his
head in a no.
"Princess Aurora and Prince Phillips..!! You
know their story was a lot different..!"
Nandini told Manik tracing her fingers on
the picture.
"Acha? What is their story?" Manik
asked excitedly.
"Hmm actually Princess Aurora was cursed
by a evil fairy..! She cursed her and princess
Aurora fell asleep..!! That wasn't an
ordinary sleep..!! It was a curse..!! That sleep
was could only be broke by a kiss of true
love..!! Then prince Philips came to rescue
his Princess..!! He kissed Princess
Aurora and she woke up..!! Then they live
happily ever after..!!" But in reality there is
no happily ever after..!!" Nandini ended up
sadly and gave Manik a faint smile.
"We will make our love story happily ever
after Nandini..!!" Manik said and dragged
her in a corner.
"Manik..!! What are you doing?" Nandini
said tired to free herself from his strong
grip.
"Shhh..!!" Manik shushed her by placing his
finger on her lips. Manik leaned forward
started kissing Nandini slowly yet
passionately and Nandini sighed in bliss
responding him with equal favor. Manik
tasted each and every corner of her mouth
exploring her mouth thoroughly. After some
time Manik broke the kiss and Nandini
hugged him tightly.
