All of them, Aubrey, Isaac, Sam and the other two girl whom I still didn't know their names looked at eachother, clearly shocked. But why? I was always tought that there was no such thing as a mate, that it was just a story parents made up to tell their children. But then why do I feel so drawn to Sam?

The smallest girl stood and walked over to me, "I'm Annabell. And you're Cassie. I think maybe you should come with me and Aubrey and Montanna to talk more about your old pack ... We can tell you all about mates and everything else you need to know. Does that sound ok? I don't want to scare you..." She mumbles the last part and exchanges hopefull smiles with Aubrey and the other girl, Montanna I'm guessing.

Annabell was small, probably a few years younger than me, she seemed very sweet and gentle like Aubrey. She had pale skin and her face was dusted with freckles along with long wavy brown hair with blonde highlights and big green-blue innocent looking eyes.

Montanna had the same curls as Aubrey and Isaac, and her hair was red, like Aubreys, but slightly darks. She had bright green-ish-golden eyes and tanned skin, from being outside I'm guessing.

We had never been allowed out before, Marcus said it was for safety percautions. I guess that made sense, but it was hard. I loved being out so much, and now I'm locked in the basement of a strange house with people I've never met, people who are supposidly my real family.

"Sure, but can we please go outside to do it? They didn't allow us out unless it was for a pack meeting. All our homes and buildings were underground, so I didn't get much sun either. I miss it." I mumble the last part, Sam lets out an annoyed growl, I'm guessing about the fact that we weren't allowed outside.

"That inhumane. We're wolves! We're meant to live outside, in the woods, free!" Sam grumbles and huffs off to another room, Isaac shakes his head at Sam, looks at me and gives me a weak smile before following Sam off to who-knows-where. Something about not knowing where Sam was, bothered me.

It hurt a little too.

Once outside, Aubrey and Annabell bursted into a run into the woods. I looked at Montanna, confused, she smirks before giving me an answer, "Theres a fence around the place. They put it up after the attack, just to give a little more security, so as long as you stay in the fence you should be fine. We just don't want to loose you, we missed you so much," She looks down for a moment and looks sad before mumbling, "We thought you were dead." I look at her, even more confused now. She only shakes her head before lettingg me ask why, "I'll explain everything once we find Annabell and Aubrey."

And with that, she takes off running through the woods, me at her heals trying to keep up. We come to a stop in front of a mini version of the house, but with no windowns or doors and a slide from the second floor to the ground. It's just big enough for me to fit in without haveing to crouch.

"Welcome to our play house!" Aubrey squeals as she steps into the main doorway, motioning for us to come in. Montanna giggles and walks in, motioning for me to follow. Inside it's furnished with a fake kitchen appliances made of wood along with a table and chairs, also wood, then a ladder leading to the second floor. Annabell is already sitting at the table with a bottle of water in her hands, "Theres a mini fridge upstairs. You want a water?" She asks me politely.

"I'm fine." I say as I walk over to the table and sit across from her, Montanna and Aubrey doing the same but taking the leftover two seats.

"So," Montanna says looking between the three of us, "Where should we start?"
