I sat down on my cot and listened to them brag about how they were going to kill us. I was shocked that Foster hadn't done anything to help me, or anyone for that matter. I guess having a mate changes a person. I was almost asleep when they finally shut up and left, a few minutes later Lucas was inside my cell.

He didn't walk through the door, he walked in through the wall as if it wasn't even there. He saw my confusion and laughed slightly, "I'm a barrier. I can go through anything, including your minds. I can read anyone's thought and walk through anything, unless you're a shield like Marcus was. Anyways, I'm going to get all you out of here."

He walked over and picked me up and walked back through the wall with me as if it wasn't there again, when I knew it really was. Once we were outside he put me down and pulled out a chain of keys. Sam growled from across the hall, "Why couldn't you have just unlocked her door?"

"They're taking extra precautions to protect her, so Laurie is the only one with a key to her cell. They didn't want to loose her because she means so much." Luke said as he unlocked Sam's cell door. Once he was out of the cell I could feel his wolf surrounding me, just before Sam hugged me, picking me off the ground. I nuzzled my face to his neck, taking in his scent and he did the same, we had missed each other.

I looked over and saw Luke unlocking another cell, Herriott came walking out and Sam pushed me behind him, growling at her. She might have been his mother, but I was his mate.

So much had changed since just a few weeks ago. This time two weeks ago I was still a rouge and didn't even know mates were real. I'm glad things have changed.

"I'm sorry. I was so over come with emotions that I wasn't listening to my wolf. Please, Sam and Cassie, please forgive me." Herriott said to us.

"You are forgiven." I stated as I side stepped Sam.

"Okay, they're going to keep you alive, I know they said they weren't but they are. You're too important to them too kill you, but they are going to tell the entire were community that you all are dead so they can inherit the throne. Once they have the throne, they are going to get rid of packs and kill all the alphas and betas so no one has higher power than them." Luke informed us all.

"Where are we?" Sam asked, I guess they had knocked him and Herriott out back at the castle too.

"The rouge base. This is below the basements, not many rouges even know this is here. I know, because I'm a rouge. I was stolen as a pup, but I don't know from where. This is the only home I've ever known." Luke told him and suddenly I knew why I trusted him. Luke was my trainer when I was younger, he taught me how to protect myself and how to fight, but they moved me to be trained by Marcus because Luke wasn't hard enough on me.

"Luke, I remember..." I mumbled.

"I knew you would, Princess."

We got out of the prison and Luke was leading us through the rouge facilities. For some reason everything was empty, and that scared me. The halls were only empty when we were going into war.

As we ran through the halls I suddenly stopped and recognized my old room. I walked inside slowly, the door wasn't locked. Everything was torn to shreds, most likely Marcus had torn it appart when he found out that I wasn't on their side anymore, or when he realized that Foster had escaped with me.

My clothes were even more tattered than they usually were and my vanity mirror was shattered. My bed was ripped open and stuffing scattered on the floor. Only one thing stayed the same from when I left.

I lifted up my box spring and felt around until I found a small photo that was burned on one corner and crumpled up. There was a water stain on it and the edges were frayed but I still recognized it. It was a picture of my and Logan and Alexa and Alexis when we were little. Alexa and Alexis were twins that had also been stolen mostlikely. They were good fighters, each with long white blonde hair and brown eyes that were almost black and fairly tan skin. I looked like a ghost standing between the two of them with Logan behind me in the picture. I hadn't seen Logan since before I was captured again, I hope Audrey and he are okay. I hadn't seen Alexa and Alexis since before we attacked the Dusk pack though, for all I knew they could be dead.

The though hurt, that my two closest friends could be dead, could have been dead for days even, and I wouldnt know it. My eyes watered as I looked at the picture but I choked back the tears and stuffed the small picture in the waist band of my pants where I wouldn't loose it before running outside and catching up with the others. I knew my way around here well, and quickly met up with them out side in a clearing above where all of the base was underground. This is the clearing were I had given my speach before I had gone to kill my own family, and I hadn't even known it.

Sam and Lucas and Heriott were all shifted, I was the only one who couldn't since I was the youngest and hadn't completed the mating process with Sam yet. I climbed on his back and we began running, Sam in the front with Heriott and Luke on either side one him.

We were heading to Dusk.
