We walked for what felt like ages, for awhile Sam walked as a wolf and let me ride on his back, but I was still exhausted.

"So, what exactly are we leading again? And how many of them are we leading? " I asked, watching Alexa and Alexis from my comfy spot on Sam's back, which I was snuggled into his fur and laying stretched out with my head between my ears to my toes hanging off by his tail just barely.

"Well, right now there's around fifty of us." Alexis said. One thing I had noticed was that since I rejoined the Dusk pack, she was quieter.

"And we just need a leader, None of us are alpha bloodline and you both always know what to so in a crisis." Alexa volunteered with a warm smile, she hadn't change much.

"Oh, okay." was all I replied. Since Alexa and Alexis both couldn't shift, they rode on Logan. I felt bad for Aubrey, I knew she didn't like seeing them riding on her mate, hell I wouldn't have it, so I really looked up to her.

Speaking of siblings, I was really worried about Isaac. It didn't sound like something he would do, just leaving like that. I just hope Zane, Laurie, Lana and Foster didn't have him, if they did he probably wouldn't stay alive long knowing them. He's not royal, and he isn't an Alpha just yet, they can't get anything they want from him. They really want me, and Sam, and my parents, but even I didn't know where my parents were.

Suddenly a long howl came from about one hundred yards away and we all jumped, getting tense and ready to fight. Everyone except Alexa and Alexis that is, they just started snickering. Everyone looked at them either in shock or glaring.

"That's our people! The rebels!" Alexa said between laughs and we all relaxed, a few people growled at them.

"It shouldn't be very far away now, all of you do plan to join right? We doin't have any rouges or loners?" Alexis asked, jokingly but there was still a hint of seriousness. We all laughed, or snorted for those that were shifter, and shook out heads.

"Good."

Not very much longer, we broke through the tree line and into the large clearing, around the size of a football field. On the opposite size of where we had come in, was a mountain with a waterfall flowing down in into a river that went out into the woods again. I was a little curious of where it led.

One thing about the clearing though was there were no wolves anywehre, no wolves and no humans or shifters or rouges or even anything living, other than us.

"Where is everyone?" Sam asked, he had just shifted back to human and didn't bother with getting dressed, making it hard to focus on anything other than him, but somehow I managed to drag my eyes away before their gaze dropped below his abs and followed him V-line.

"Just follow us, but you all need to shift first. They don't tend to like it when people show up shifted, they take it as a threat." Alexis told us all and everyone began shifting back. It was pretty awkward, concidering there weren't any clothes for them to put on, but most of us were used to it.

Alexis and Alexa started walking towards the waterfall, side by side, and the rest of us followed. Once they got right up next to the waterfall they pushed a rock out of the way a little bit to uncover a path behind the waterfall. They walked in and we all followed in amazement.

Once we got inside the cave it was very dark and loud from the water. The only light came from torches that were hung from the walls about every ten yards.

"How did you find this?" Aubrey asked quietly, looking around in awe.

"There was a rouge pack living here," Alxea said. She must have sensed our nerves because she laughed and finished what she was saying, "Not rouges like Zane and Laurie and Marcus, rouges like they were loners. They found Alexis and me and gave us a home here, then we started taking in more and more shifters. Their on our side."

We all relazed a little and kept walking until I started to see the glow of light at the end of the cave's path. We picked up our pace and I ended up jogging into the opening, a large room with an open top with glass over it to let light in. The glass must've been one way, or we would be found easily. The room had nothing in it furniture wise but all the way around the room were little cave entrances that led down, what looked like, long dark halls. I gasped, at how large the room was and everyone in the room turned and looked at me, a few let our growls and shifted before slowly walking towards me snarling.

A few seconds later everyone else showed up and Sam shifted immediatly before jumping infront of me. growling and snapping at anyone that got near me. Sam's wolf was much bigger than any of theirs and he was a royal blood, so everyone shrank back from here. He let out a loud snarl that echoed from the cave walls and a few people wimpered from it hurting their ears, even I had to cover mine, but everyone took a few steps back and a few people that had shifted to their wolves, shifted back.

Once there was a good distance between him and the other weres, I ran over to his side and hugged his neck, burrying my face in his fur to calm him down. After a few minutes, he shifted back and picked me up bridal style, carrying me back over to the others from out group.

A few minutes later, everyone went back to what they were doing, a few still giving us glares though.

"Come we me, I'll show you all your living quarters. You'll only need three right?" Alexa asked as she walked towards a path with a Z carved about it in the stone.

"Three will be plenty." Aubrey told her and we all followed down the long path until at the end it broke off into three branches, large wooden doors with iron locks blocking them all.

Alexis passed out keys, one for Sam and me, one for Audrey and Logan and one for Darcy and Parker.

The keys had numbers ingraved on them that matched the numbers carved in the stone above the door. I looked down at the key for Sam and my room, we got room number 17. Walking over and unlocking the door I gaped as I entered the room, it was huge! There were no windows, or even other rooms, just this one huge one, but it made up for it in size. One thing I noticed was there was no kitchen or bathroom areas though.

"The bathroom is split between the three rooms down this hall and you don't need to worry about a kitchen because we prepare and serve the meals to everyone." Alexa told me as she walked inside. I nodded and continued to look around. "I hope this room pleases you, the three in this corridor are the three nicest."

"They're absolutely magnificent." I said just loud enough for her to hear. there was a huge bed with silk sheets and a hand made quilt laid across it and the rest of the room was taken up with a huge black leather couch that faced a television that took over the entire wall. And to think this was all left for just Sam and me.

"Now tomorrow will be busy for you both, first we are introducing you all to the pack and then we need to start making a plan for the attack, so I recommend you sleep well tonight." Alexa informed us as she walked out of the room, pulling the door shut behind her.

The second the lock clicked, Sam pounced on me, pinning me to the bed and kissing all over me from my chest up.
