Annabell's Point of View

Aubrey, Sam and Cassie had come up with a plan and were sending a messenger to tell me about it. The link we had been keeping up was becoming weak and hard for us to make out what the other was saying, so every afternoon I was meeting with a messenger to discusse the plan's that had been made so far. Her name was Alexis, and she told me she had grown up with Cassie and had been a stolen child like her, and that she was against the rogue ways just as much as the rest of us, which made me feel bettter.

I had been telling my father I was going to practice my gift out in the woods, so I had to go a rather far way to be sure I wasn't being followed or that any other's of my father's pack - or whatever they are - weren't around.

Once I finally made it to the clearing I looked around for Alexis and found her perched in a tree, like she usually was. It was smart to hide in a tree, most of us werewolves were awful climbers and wouldn't think to look up to make sure no rogues were around.

"Alexis." I called out.

"Annabell. I have news to transfer to you from Aubrey and Cassie. They have moved up the time of the attack. It will be in two days, and they need your help to make it as safe as possible for them to get to the prison. Remember, Sierra and Dustin are the priorities. Keep them safe at all costs."

Then Alexis was gone. She simply turned and left, only a few leaves falling to the ground as she hopped off from branch to branch. I had a feeling that she was different from most were's, but I didn't feel like thinking too hard about it. I needed to figure out a way to get Dustin and Sierra out safely, and I had two days to figure it out.

Lately my dad had become very trusting towards me. I guess his wolf was to blame with it, he thought his own pup wouldn't betray him right? Well I also my thought my own father wasn't a complete asshole, so I guess we both were wrong.

He was an idiot to open up to me so fast. He didn't even know there was a rebel pack formed. I snorted at his stupidity as I walked back to the pack house.

I had been so lost in my own thoughts, I hadn't even picked up on his scents until it literally hit me in the face. You wanna know why? Because he came up behind me and covered my mouth so I wouldn't scream before pulling me off the path and into the woods.

I elbowed him in the ribs and caused him to release me, "Isaac I swear if you do that again I'm going to  end you!" I whisper screamed.

I was the only one that knew Isaac was around again. He had been watching over both the packs, and he didn't let anyone but me know. He was going to be my secret weapon during the attack.

Cassie's Point of View

Annabell had been comunicating with us through Alexis lately. Alexis was always the one we sent because she was the stealthiest, along with Alexa but Alexa didn't want to loose her mate. Which I understood.

Aubrey and Alexis had convinced us to move up the attack date to in two days because of what we had learned about the werevat population being threathened and that the rogue pack was planning on attacking one of the last wolf shifter packs within the next week.

I was fine with having the attack sooner, other than one thing. Since Sam and I were the leaders of this pack, we needed to be mated to have a full mind link set up with everyone and have our full alpha control.

And to be honest, I was terrified of mating.

I knew Sam wanted to, and I wanted to be mated to him aswell, the process just scared me to death. What if I wasn't good enough? Would it hurt?

Well I knew it would hurt, that was for sure. But I didn't want to think about that.

Instead I focused on getting to know the members of my little rebel pack, that ended up being not quite so little.

There were, and I'm not exagurating, hundreds of members in our pack. The thought of being over all of them was a little scary, but I knew that we had numbers on our side so that calmed me a little.

I had met Alexa's mate, who was a nice guy. He told me that he was a were lion, which surprised me because I didn't really think there was such a thing. Apparently what species cat you were was like fur color to werecats, and he was up at the top, what would be a king alpha, although they mainly stayed as longers so they didn't have alpha's, only pride leaders for those who chose to stay in groups.

His name was Greyson, by the way, and he had quickly become friends with Sam. So together, Alexa and Greyson became out Beta's.

I could tell it was hard for Alexa sometimes because she grew up thinking she was a werewolf, and now suddenly she was something she didn't know even existed. I would've taken it worse than her probablly but she was always very optimistic and strong.

I only had a day now, to get everyone ready for the attack and get mated to Sam. Everyone knew their roles in the attack, so the only thing left was getting mated.

Great.
