When I finally came too, everything was dark. I could feel the humidity in the air and tell that I was laying on some kind of old cott. I couldn't feel Sam anywhere near by, my wolf wasn't strong enough and something was blocking him from me. Wolfsbane.
I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. Everything was dark and it made seeing difficult at first, then I adjusted and was able to see that I was in a dark room with dirt walls and floor. There were no windows and only a single, large iron door opposite from me. The room was underground and mostlikely the walls were lined with wolfbane to keep me trapped. This was a prison cell, I knew these places well.
But there was something different with this cell than the others I had been kept captive in previously. This cell wasn't made of metal or iron walls. I was being hidden.
I sat up, swinging my legs from the side of my bed and pressed them against the dirt floor as I put my weight on them. I was now dressed in black cut off shorts and a dirty grey tee shirt that was ripped around the ends. These were the same type of clothes from my rouge days.
"Lana, what's going on." I heard a firmiliar voice from outside ask, it was Foster's voice.
What was Foster doing here? And Lana? Where even was here?
I quickly ran to the door and piered out the small window, but couldn't see very far out from the bars that held me in. I gripped the door handle and tried to melt it away, but I only burned myself. More Wolfsbane.
I let out a scream from the sudden burn and heard yelling from outside, "Cassie! Cassie it's me, Foster your bastard look what you're doing! You're going to kill her! All of you!" I heard Sam shout from across the hall.
"I don't know what's even going on mutt!" Foster growled back. I could see outside my window that Lana, Foster, Zane and his mate that looked like Lana all stood outside my cell.
"That's exactly what we plan to do. Kill her, and you. All of you! Just like we killed your father." Zane's mate said to Sam. I looked around as much as I could, Lucas was out there holding a large gun and not making eye contact with anyone, when he finally made eye contact with me I could hear his voice in my head.
"Don't worry Princess, I'm going to save you. You can always trust me." I knew I probably shouldn't trust Lucas, but I did. Something about him made me feel better, and he must be powerful for them to have chosen him as their guard.
"Laurie, lets go tell the packs their all dead, then all this is rightfully ours.." Zane said. But we arent' dead.
Don't count your wolves until you kill them.
