Chapter 6 – A Little Town
The gang had arrived in a small town in such a quick manner because it was only a short trip to the southern region. The town had an aura of a calm place as it was not that of a city type but it was rather like a small provincial town, but it still had some roads present. The houses were not as big as the ones in Aldwin city and one can tell that this particular place was far off the central parts of the Treyah continent. Just outside the town lay a heavily forested area.
Melfice then drove as he took directions from Lucian on where they would stay at while Seiryu followed behind him on his motorcycle and Yue just held on tight on the long haired student’s waist. Both the hybrid wielder and Seiryu now turned right and finally they had reached a huge house that stood at the end of the road. There was a gate in front of them and a security guard was standing in front of them gesturing them to stop. He got near the window of the pick-up truck and Melfice opened it.
“What brings you here?” the guard said arrogantly to them.
“We’re staying here.” Lucian replied to the guard and immediately his demeanor had changed.
“Oh yes please Master Lucian, feel free to stay as long as you like.” The guard said now as he gestured the others to open the gates.
Melfice and Seiryu now drove their respective vehicles through the gate and immediately out in the front was an open air parking lot that could accommodate many vehicles.
“You can park here.” Lucian said as the hybrid wielder was measuring the parking space and maneuvering the vehicle in order for it to fit the parking slot. Seiryu on the other hand stopped the bike just beside the pick-up truck as he had parked the motorcycle with ease.
Afterwards then, Yue let go of Seiryu as she got of the motorcycle and stretched a little. The long haired student got off as well as he balanced his motorbike by letting the foot balance out. Their other companions got off their respective vehicle as well and one by one they took their bags from the back of Melfice’s pick-up truck and they now made their way towards the huge mansion.
“Well guys, welcome to our emergency house.” Lucian said as he smiled at his companions.
“Okay so where are we exactly?” Fran then asked as she held her huge bag on her shoulder with ease.
“Glendail. This is the town of Glendail.” Seiryu then replied as he was somewhat reminiscing in his mind about the past.
“And how do you know this place?” Yue then asked the long haired student as they all walked together.
“Long story.” The long haired student replied to her as they have now reached the huge door of Lucian’s “emergency” mansion.
The calm student rang the doorbell in front of him as he waited for someone to open the door. Shortly afterwards the door was opened and an old man who wore a suit had been in front of them.
“Oh master Lucian, I didn’t know you were coming.” The old man said. He was the butler of the mansion.
“I already told my father that I would be staying here for a week, so it’s no trouble at all with him.” The calm student replied to the butler.
“Well, I guess I’ll be at your service for the coming days.” The butler replied as the group of people all went inside the mansion.
Inside the mansion, it was like a castle set up for there was a huge chandelier that hung high above them. There were a pair of stairs that curved right in front of them and underneath it was a huge door again. The group now climbed up the set of stairs as they were being distributed into their rooms, well aside from Lucian because he already had this room.
