Chapter 2 – Decisions

“Why go back to the southern region? What would be your purpose there?” Yue asked as she now wondered what exactly would the long haired student do there and why now at this crucial moment in time.

“I need to learn how to master my darkness as well as master the Jigoku Mugen Satsujin Ken. My master resides there. He was the only person who took care of me back then.” Seiryu said in a very serious manner. “Besides, I wouldn’t want anyone to worry again if I ever lose control, especially you since you’re a worrywart.” He added.

“He doesn’t want me to worry? That’s nice of him.” Yue thought to herself as she let out a faint smile once more. “You’ve really changed. You know that?” she then said to the long haired student.

“Not really.” Seiryu said as he went back and sat down near the tree as he rested his back on its trunk.

“Well you have and I can see it clearly.” Yue said to him as she smiled. “Back then we used to bicker a lot and argue about senseless stuff.” She added.

“That’s only you ditz. I try to ignore you but you’re just so damned annoying.” Seiryu joked towards her as he stuck out a tongue afterwards like a child. This had earned him a glare from the azure haired student. Yue let out a helpless sigh as she just smiled again.

“Well there are some things that can never be changed.” She uttered outloud.

“The hell’s that supposed to mean?” Seiryu asked her in response because he had the feeling that her particular statement was hinting something witty.

“Oh nothing.” Yue said as she let out a small giggle afterwards.

“Whatever ditz. You’re such a weirdo sometimes.” Seiryu replied to her. “Scratch that, you’re a weirdo almost all of the time.” He corrected as he lay rested his head once more on the trunk of the huge tree.

Silence again grew between the two of them as they both now just rested and let the calm wind blow towards them. It sure was a windy day and finals season was very fast approaching in the Treyah battle academy. Seiryu opened his eyes and glanced a little bit towards the azure haired girl that sat beside him but she wasn’t that near. Her hair was tied into a high ponytail but there were bangs present as they fell unevenly in front of her. Though it was uneven, it suited her well.

“Never really noticed that she had nice hair.” Seiryu thought to himself as his eyes were just pasted on the azure haired student that was beside him. “And her eyes too, I never knew that they were so clear until now.” He added. “Wait what the fuck am I saying??” he then thought to himself as he calmly faced away from her direction.

“What’s your problem?” Yue then noticed as she saw that Seiryu was acting kind of weird.

“Nothing that concerns you ditz.” He retorted back immediately.

“Weirdo.” She replied to the long haired student as she let out a small laugh again.

“Whatever.” The long haired student replied as he calmly rested his head once more near the trunk of the tree. It was already going to be a relaxing day but it seemed that they had another thing coming.

“Check out the love birds by the tree!” a familiar voice had said and this immediately caught Yue and Seiryu’s attention.

When the one who shouted drew nearer, Yue was shocked as she saw who it was. It was Fran Breaux as she was wearing the Treyah Academy school uniform as well. Lucian was with her as well. It would seem that he was showing her around campus.
