Chapter 25 – Conflict and Collapse
It was a windy day in the Academy and as usually Seiryu was not attending class. He found himself stumbling around the usual spot, which was the rooftop of the sixth floor of the Academy or it was more known as the place he used to spend time with Elle. He sat at the edge of the roof as the winds blew his hair backwards and the wind collided gently across his face. It was a first that he was actually wearing the school uniform’s jacket when he cut class but it wasn’t buttoned up as it was supposed to.
“Some things never change.” Seiryu said as he saw the view from above. The grassy fields that surrounded the academy were still there and the area was still the same as always. It was like he never left at all.
“What really surprised me was what shishou had to say about Yue.” He thought to himself. “Never knew that he actually met Her.” He added.

Flashback
“There’s something you should know about her. Something I’ve noticed since the day I saw her.” Aizen said to his apprentice
“What?” Seiryu then said as his master stood up and went to the table near the bed inside the shack and the long haired student followed him right afterwards.
The two of them sat down on the chairs present around the table as Aizen prepared to tell his student something that would surprise him.
“She mirrors Gaia in some way.” Aizen said to him.
“The ruler of the realm of life and death?” Seiryu then asked him. “Can’t be possible.” He said afterwards.
“I’m not only talking about the physical. I sense that her power is not only one element is it? She can control multiple elements am I right?” he then said and indeed this had surprised Seiryu even more.
“How can you tell?” the long haired student asked in surprise.
“It was the same feeling when I saw Gaia face to face.” The master swordsman said to his student.
“You saw Gaia?” Seiryu then asked his master.
“Back in the mountains when I was injured, I felt her energy. I didn’t really see her but I knew it was her. The multiplicity of her spirit energy thickened the atmosphere up there and the natural forces coming from her multi-element spirit energy somewhat healed me.” Aizen said. “That feeling stuck to me ever since and when I saw your companion, I felt the same thing from her energy.” He added.
“What could this mean?” the apprentice asked him once more.
“From the mythos, Gaia was said to have a child and this child was supposed to be a girl. Maybe it’s her.” Aizen said to him.
“Gaia’s daughter, her?” Seiryu said as he pondered on the thought that his master had given him.

“Could it be possible?” Seiryu thought to himself as he sat down on the rooftop once more. The thought of Yue being Gaia’s daughter didn’t seem to an improbable thing as his pointed out.
Completely enveloped in his thoughts he again fell into silence as he looked off the horizon that was in front of him. Wind still blew around him as it was really a windy day at Treyah.
