A Christmas Redemption

Twas the night before Christmas
when all through the scapes of hell,
not a creature was stirring
not even the sound of the welcome bell;
No decorations were hung in the crispy hellish air,

The boy continued his speech at a leisurely pace,
All the while, Bitsle Boggin held his breath as he braced.
"King Frodo has invited you to his palace"
To discuss how to reverse your governed malice".

Bitsle Boggin groans, "What does that old man want?
Can't you see I'm busy, I don't have time to see that savant!"
Before he can argue further, the boy is already in the air
With wishes of his appearance echoing in fanfare
With a cloudy mind, Bitsle Boggin packs his things and
His weapons of mass destruction, off to see the king.

The castle door opens with a gust of strong wind
Bitsle Boggin storms in, his rage burning and singed
Frodo stands tall, the king of hell, with his thunderous aura
"Calm down, Bitsle Boggin" his laughter booms
"Your anger could rival that of a chimera."
The king takes him by the arm and whisks him away
To a land far from hell's Bay

A twinkle emits a grand light as Bitsle Boggin stares down
At the world painted in white, "This is the Great Sea,
a world unknown even to the greatest adventurers ever shown."
Bitsle Boggin gapes in wonder, and a shiver goes through his body
the world spread out before his eyes, causing him to blunder
"You see that fairy, down there by the reef,
With a tail as bright as the sun and a smile upon his teeth"
Bitsle Boggins' eyes widen in glee, a pretty little merman
Something he definitely wants under his tree.
"His name is Fabiloot, help him spread Christmas cheer
And you'll have a spot up high! all the way up there!
The king said jolly, "It's a promise from your Old St. Nick"
"So do well not to play any tricks"

The water felt warm, a feeling unfamiliar
It engulfed him like a blanket, wrapping his body like a caterpillar!
He floated down, down, and even more down!
Reaching the bottom, with a 'Woop' of glee
He was finally free!
A tail whipped towards him, fluttering and fluttering
His head followed, leading him to the merman
As he started stuttering

The pair gather their supplies
Butting heads in every which way

All the way up to the highest point of the chateau
There sits the ocean king, high on his throne,

The king gives them their tasks,
Wishes they must fulfil before Christmas past
With a huff and a moan, Bitsle Boggin drags their sack
Their adventure starts with no more sidetracks.

They go throughout the sea, visiting every town
Spreading Christmas glee
Wish after wish, smile after smile
'Is this what makes Christmas worthwhile?'
Bitsle Boggin thinks, a warm feeling in his heart
One he can't quite place.
All this joy and happiness,
Is he even allowed in this space?
With every house, Bitsle Boggins' heart sways
Closer and closer to Fabiloot, wanting to whisk him away.

On to their last house, Fabiloot greets
With that smile, Bitsle Boggin can't really meet
Looking would be too hard
The desire and lust caught him off guard.
His head reeling as Fabiloot stares

We can quickly wrap up this whole state of affairs"
As he passes the wand, the grazing of skin

They walk back to the castle

Fabiloot rested Bitsle Boggin on a nearby rock

Then to see Fabiloot ravaged on the seafloor

They return to the king dishevelled and sore,
Fabiloot so marked up, his eyes dazed, wishing for an encore.
"You've spread Christmas delight like a fireball,
For that, I'll give you the greatest gift of all!"
The king says as he shoots Bitsle Boggin and Fabiloot up into the sky
So they can rest in heaven with their love held high.
