The blonde guy mutters something under his breathe and quietly drifts off. He didn't even speak a single word. Like is he for real? Such a coward.
I glance at Alastair. He smirks at me. Instead of coming beside me, he places his arms on the table on either side of me. My breathe hitches in my throat. Leaning closely near my ear, he whispers,"Dance with me."
I turn back and thrust out my tongue. He looks amused. "You won't?" He asks.
I shake my head. He then does the unthinkable. He holds my hand and pulls me to the floor. I gasp. He's too powerful and I can't jerk myself out of his grasp.
He holds my waist and pulls me towards him, pulling my arm along with his.
"I can report you for forcing me." I say to him even though I'm moving along with him closely.
"But you won't." With that he twirls me around. "And why do you think so?" I ask.
"Because you love me."
"Oh please. I don't love you."
"Then why are you looking at me like that?"
"Like what?"
"I get it! You're lusting after me."
I hit his arm. "That's false."
"Your eyes say it's true."
Seems like my eyes are speaking way too much. "Then I'll close them." I say and shut my eyes.
"Then I'll kiss you." My eyes are closed but I can feel his breathe fanning my face. I open my eyes suddenly. He's just still looking at me.
"You really wanted to be kissed right?" He says with amusement.
I shut my eyes and once again threw my tongue out at him. "That's not true! If you want to make fun of me, then I might just go home."
"I'm so sorry." He mutters and holds me close to him again. What's up with him? He was never so affectionate in public ever. But here is he is, with me. Public reminds me, we're in an office party. I stiffen and look around. No one is over here, the place where we're dancing is very quiet and secluded. I still get paranoid and pull him to the side.
"What?" He asks. It was very dark over here but I could still see his defined features in the faint glimmer of light.
"Someone will see us." I whisper.
"I can tell them."
"Oh no let it be."
"Are you embarrassed about me?"
Is he mad?
"Have you lost it?"
He shuffles. I'm pinned up against the wall and he has casually kept a hand across my head on the wall. Can he seen that I can't breathe?
"Nah I was just wondering."
"You don't need to."
"This party is getting too boring."
"But we're the heads. They need us."
"Fuck it. I need you."
"You don't."
"You need me to prove it?"
"Maybe."
"Yes or no?"
"Yes."
"Can I kiss you?"
"Is that something you're supposed to ask?"
"Speak up."
"Just lean in and do the work."
I close my eyes and he holds up my arms across the wall. I'm completely hostage and his fragrance is driving me crazy. Just kiss me already.
He presses his lips to mine. I can feel blood rushing faster through my veins and my heart throbs with ecstasy. This is what relief feels like. This is what living feels like. Because all I did all these years was just exist. It suddenly feels as if the knots within me have unbinded in succession. I feel warm all over and as my lips taste his, it's like I've had an old wine. Like I've tasted heaven and am now drinking it again. I've missed him. I want to run my hands through his hair but he is holding me up. He plays around with my lips and then bites the lower one. It feels like my eyes will roll out of my sockets. He feels my tongue with his. I almost give out a moan.
"Let's get out of here." He whispers breathily. I'm still reeling from the impact of this untimely adrenaline rush. He takes my hand and we walk towards his car. He presses the accelerator and we're off, all the time his other hand on my thigh.
We reach his building. He is holding my hand tightly. The elevator door opens. We step in. The liftman is already there, unfortunately. I glance at him. He bends down and whispers in my ear,"Patience babydoll."
Anticipation bounces through me. We reach the apartment. He inserts the key into the lock and opens it. We're barely inside in the dim light when he kisses me again. Fumbling, we reach the bedroom. Thrill once again rushes through me. He towers over me when he suddenly frowns. And just like that he gets off me and lies down on the bed beside me.
"What happened?" I keep my head on my hand as I look at him.
"I don't have protection right now." He groans.
"I should be glad that you don't actually." I bite my lip.
He also rises and keeps his head on his hand, facing me. "You still amaze me. Aren't you disappointed? Because I an sad as hell for that."
I blush. "There's always a next time." I run my hand along his collar.
"You don't know how much I'm controlling my urges right now." He gives me an intense look.
"Cuddling still isn't that bad." I rest my head on his chest.
"With you, everything is good, nothing's bad." He kisses my head. And we drift off in sleep.Alastair
Yesterday was so amazing. Kissing her brought back memories I had nicely packed away at the back of my mind. She tasted divine. Nothing more delicious than her. This girl is my addiction. I gently lift her head off my chest as she snores lightly. She always was a deep sleeper. I get up and see two voicemails waiting. It's from Paige. Fuck. The first one is some nonsense. The second one blares out.
Baby, I just realized how much I was missing you. So I've decided to come to California to meet you. I'll be there at 3:00 pm in the afternoon. I expect you to come to pick me up. If you don't, you know that I know your adress. Much love.
My worst fears just came true.
