Chapter 34: Confused, Screwing Around and Drunk!

She carried herself with poise and her every movement seemed very graceful. She even had a sweet voice. Since I didn't utter a word, Raj introduced me to her holding my hand as his 'girlfriend'.

We took a seat on the bucket chairs and she asked me "So Raj told me a lot about you. You are one hell of a girl who can handle him. What did you do to him?"

I felt good for a minute and there was a smile on my face and I answered calmly "I have no idea. Even I was in for a shock that someone like him would like me. "

He looked and gave me a wide smile and said looking at her "I am lucky that she chose to be with me."

We ordered for some beverages while we chatted but I felt a bit affected looking at her beauty. If I was getting affected how come Raj didn't?

She knew I was still studying so she asked me about my college and stuff and I felt like a kiddo while I answered.

I didn't think she would be so sweet but maybe she was just trying to be sweet in front of Raj, who knew!

Raj got a phone call and he excused himself to pick up the call. The moment he left, I asked Aditi "Do you have any feelings for Raj more than a friend?"

I took a sip of my coffee as she said in a sly tone "Yes! I do" and I almost choked.

"What?" was all that I could say.

"I said I do like him and I came to Mumbai especially to have some fun with him but I had no clue you were there in the picture but I am sure that's not for long. Raj gets bored too easily" she said with an evil grin.

I didn't know what to reply but I did feel offended. She took advantage of my silence and continued her taunting "Till I know him, he mustn't have used you yet maybe that's why his world is revolving around you now."

Till I knew Raj, I was sure he wasn't like that at all, maybe he was like that before. But no one had ever been too rude with me ever before.

But then I answered her in a low voice "It's none of your business!"

She said sipping her drink "I bet you he will leave you soon. He's already spending too much time with me."

Before I could answer her back, Raj came back and giving me a sweet peck on the cheek he sat down.

It would be like bitching if I would tell Raj but if I wouldn't tell anyone it would get to me. I wanted to leave from there so I told Raj calmly "Raj, I know it's rude but I want to go home. I am having a mild head ache and before it worsens I want to sleep."

I knew Raj wouldn't let me go alone and wouldn't say no to me so he told Aditi "I am really sorry A but I need to take her home. See you later."

Saying that he got up from there and took me along with him and I gave a bitchy look to Aditi who made a spoilt face looking at me.

Raj dropped me till the door step as usual. He didn't come in because Arjun was home. God knows why he always avoided my brother.

He said before leaving "No goodbye kiss?"

I was too sleepy and irritated because of what Aditi said so I told Raj "No. not today. You should go. Have a safe journey."

I gave him a hug and went inside my home. The next day I woke up and saw a text from him 'If only you could come with me. Will come to see you the moment I am back. Love you ;-)'

I had plans with Jai for the day and later with Rohan. Jai came home and sat cozily on the couch and said "I spoke to Abhishek and he said he likes me too."
