Ally's POV

I woke up, not full of dread and unwillingness this morning like I usually do.

I didn't fall asleep until 3 am.

but I felt fine.

I got out of bed, and put on a pair of leggings.

I then pulled on a sweatshirt, and slipped on my white converse.

in the bathroom, I quickly put my hair into a ponytail.

I walked back out into my room and looked at my glasses that rested on my nightstand.

contacts or glasses...contacts or glasses...contacts or glasses...

I decided to just wear my glasses because I didn't feel like putting in my contacts today.

as I walked down the stairs I started questioning whether or not I should wear my glasses. I've always worn my contacts to school.

I brushed the thought away, and grabbed an apple from the counter.

I then walked out the door.

on my way through the neighborhood, austin walked by my side.

"hey ally." he said with a smile.

Austin's POV

when I walked out of my front door, I soon saw ally.

I caught up to her, and I saw that she looked totally different today.

instead of wearing jeans and a black hoodie today, she was wearing a pair of leggings (that showed off her legs & other stuff well...) and a sweatshirt. but also...she was wearing her glasses.

"hey ally." I said with a smile.

our eyes locked, and she replied with a simple "hey."

I gotta say, ally seemed different today.

but I liked it. she looked cute in her glasses and adorable in that sweatshirt.

and her eyes didn't seem as cold and bitter as they usually were.

we walked to school in silence.

the memory of last night when I put that blanket over her replayed in my head.

it made me smile.

maybe I do have a thing for ally...

---------------

when we got to school, ally went off her own way.

when I went to my own locker, dez came up to me and smirked at me.

"what?" I ask him...curious as to what he did this time.

"I told ally that you had a thing for her." he said, the smirk still on his face.

"YOU WHAT!" I shouted, and people gave us looks.

"woah- calm down buddy." he said with a chuckle.

"what the hell is wrong with you! I don't have a thing for her!"

okay maybe that last part was a lie...

he rolled his eyes and began walking away. "see ya in class!" he called, not bothering to look back again.

"why do you have to ruin my life sometimes..." I grumbled, even though deep down he was a brother to me.

as I took my books grumpily out of my locker, I could feel someone tap on my shoulder.

"what now..." I grumbled, and as I looked to my right, my eyes widened.
