Austin's POV

I kept laughing as we were going down the main street in our neighborhood. ally kept going way faster than me, but I didn't care.

rain still poured down on us, but it didn't seem like either of us cared.

when ally & I were finally riding side by side, I can see her take her brown hair out of her bun, letting her wet hair fall to her sides.

I couldn't help but smile, this has been an amazing weekend so far.

when we were close to one of the small neighborhood parks, ally got off her penny board and took a seat on the sidewalk.

"I guess we're taking a break then." I laughed, and she watched as I took a seat next to her.

"I'm glad you made me do that." she said, looking at our skateboards that were laying in front of us.

"me too." I said with a light smile.

for a few silent moments, our feet rested on out skateboards, and we used the moment to just enjoy.

"ally, there's something I've always wanted to do." I tell her.

"what is it." she asks, playing with her fingers.

"dance in the rain." she looked at me, and I looked at her.

"you're so cheesy, you know that." she says, still looking at me.

"yes- I know that." I say with a chuckle, and put my hand out for her.

she takes it, and I lead her to the grass.

I rest one hand on her hip, and grab hold of her left hand, while she places her right hand on my shoulder.

we both started swaying, and I smiled. because this is something to remember.

"I'm gonna spin you...ready?" I say, and she nods.

I smile as I watched her spin. but when she's spun in a complete circle, instead of resting my hand on her hip, I wrap my arms around her waist.

she then wraps her arms around my neck.

I look into her eyes. and I couldn't help but smile.

we sway slowly, just looking into each other's eyes.

after a while, I unwrapped my arms from her, and she does the same.

we ride back to our houses in silence.

we stop in front of her house, and we're standing in her driveway.

"I'll see you later." she said, and I nodded my head and smiled.

I rode down her driveway, and back to my house.

when I got home, I had a smile on my face when walking through the front door.

"AUSTIN MONICA MOON." I groaned.

"yea mom." I said, heading up to my room.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" she said.
