Riley's POV:

I need to tell Justin how I feel about him. He's everything I have ever wanted: athletic, smart, funny, cute, & my bestfriend. I'm just worried he won't feel the same way. I don't want this to ruin our friendship, but it could help us turn into something more. I have to tell him. I bounced down the stairs & sat down next to Justin. I turned to him.

"I have to tell you something," I said as I felt my nerves taking over.

"Okay," he replied. I could tell he was nervous as well.

"Well I...I" I stammered, "I don't know how to say this, but I like you Justin. I've liked you for awhile now. I know I'm taking a risk telling you this but I can't keep my feelings bottled up anymore. You're everything that I've ever wanted. If you don't feel the same way, please don't let this ruin our friendship. You.." I was cut off by somebody's lips on mine. Immediately, I kissed back never wanting it to end. I can't believe I'm kissing my bestfriend. Wait? Does he like me to?

"I like you too Riley," Justin said smiling at me.

"Y-you do?" I stammered.

"Yes I do. I have for awhile now. I just didn't know how you felt," he replied a slight blush gliding across his cheeks. He's adorable!

"Awh," I said thinking about how perfect my life was at the moment. I laid my head on his shoulder and breathed in his sweet scent. I can't believe he feels the same. I feel like I'm on cloud 9.

I was interrupted by Justin talking.

"So.." He started, "it's getting late. Do you want me to stay the night? It's supposed to storm all night long."

How sweet of him. He knew I was terribly scared of storms. I always had to sleep with somebody during them.

"Sure," I said smiling as I felt a blush creep up onto my cheeks.

"Great," he said kissing my forehead, "lets go get ready for bed and watch a movie. Sound good?"

"Sounds great," I answered with a smile reaching my forehead. Tonight is going to be a good night.
