"So... hear me out..." said Riggy spreading his fingers (I've decided that he has sorta humanish fingers on his top paws and animalistic paws on his "feet" - kind of a weird concept but IDK). "You put a cut RIGHT there-" " Of COURSE you want a cut there" said Danno, vaguely waving his hand towards the computer screen where he was editing their latest short. "That's the bit were your arm nearly got bitten off by that leprechaun..." Riggy blushed. "We- I-... I thought we agreed not to talk about that-" "we did..." said Danno smiling. "You never said anything about cutting it out of a short!" "Oh you little-" Riggy started to say but then Danno snorted. "LITTLE? I'm like THREE feet taller then you!" Riggy rolled his eyes. "I wouldn't say THREE feet taller then but I guess the point still stands..." "mmh" Danno agreed. "Your right... it's more like FOUR feet" Riggy opened his mouth, closed it, then opened it again. "I- S-shut up..." "ha." Said Danno smugly. "Shortie" Riggy stuck out his tongue. "You're just jealous that I can go into a whole other universe that YOU can't get into because YOU aren't made of PAPER!" "What does ANY of that have to do with our current argument??" Danno asked raising an eyebrow. "You didn't deny it" said Riggy shrugging in a I-Rest-My-Case way. Danno rolled his eyes and turned back to his computer screen. "Anyway..." said his voice from the recording. "After all my research I can only conclude that even though doctors and scientists don't know for sure why our bodies do that weird fake-fall thing or a hypnic jerk, the most likely answer is that our brain just mistakes our muscles relaxing as we fall asleep as us falling... for some... reason... so it jerks us awake to keep us from "falling" either that or our bodies are just determined to ruin our senses of security... haaa... well now you know..." Danno winced. Hearing his own voice in a recording was always very trippy. (Even trippier then how Riggy's dimensions worked. Like how could he be flat and NOT flat at the same time!? It didn't make any sense!) It always sounded so VASTLY different to how he was used to hearing it. Hm... maybe that's what his next short should be about? ("WHY DO OUR VOICES SOUND DIFFRENT IN RECORDINGS!?") Riggy squinted at the recording. "Jeez has my fur been THAT messed up all day??" "yeah..." said Danno sheepishly. " The only reason I didn't mention it was because you looked like you were having a bad day... I didn't want to make it worse..." "wooooow" said Riggy semi-sarcastically. "Thanks. I went on a date with Rosey after we filmed this so I really could've used that LITTLE piece of information... I was having a bit of a bad day though so... uh... thanks for the thought I guess..." Danno rolled his eyes but then smiled. "Your such an idiot Riggy... well... I'm gonna be here for awhile so... I dunno you can go do something in my house or... whatever you do when we're not filming..." "I... okay... sure..." said Riggy nervously staring at the dark parts of Danno's room that weren't partly lit up by the glow of his computer. "Okay..." Danno squinted at him. He had learned enough about Riggy by now to know a good grip on his body langue and right now he was showing signs of... fear...? "Are you... scared of the dark?" said Danno curiously. Riggy immediately flushed. "NO!" He said defensively. "I'm not scared of the dark! I'm not scared of ANYTHING!" "It's... okay to have fears you know..." said Danno as Riggy continued to eye the darkness as if it might eat him. "I'm scared of the dark too if that makes you feel any better..." Riggy muttered something inaudible then rolled his eyes. "A little bit..." he said quietly. "You can sleep on my bed if you want..." Danno said pointing at the bed. "I'll either fall asleep in this chair or I'll sleep on the floor..." Riggy grimaced. "I STILL don't see how you find that comfortable..." Danno smirked. "Well I managed to do it for a few months while you were out of it cuz your head had been split open soooooo..." he shrugged in the same I-Rest-My-Case way that Riggy had earlier then laughed awkwardly. "Your such a bad influence on me Riggs..." Riggy grinned. "I'll take that as a complement!" Danno laughed less awkwardly. "Goodnight Riggy..." "goodnight stupid human..."

The voice thing still bothers me though ~✌️
