"Hey..." said Layha speaking to her Unconscious boyfriend. "I know you probably can't hear me... but I made you something... it's not that good... but I thought you'd like it... you know a couple days ago when you were showing me some of your drawings that you'd kept from like... third grade?" She pulled a blue doll out of her bag and smiled fondly at it. "Well I based him off those drawings... I don't know what he is... so you can name him... he looks like some kind of... I dunno... rabbit/monkey-thing... so... a mabbit...? A... monney...?" She laughed softly. "I don't know... you can decide..." she leaned down and put the doll in his limp arms. It was made of fluffy blue fabric which made the stitching very obvious because she had only had black thread but she was proud of her handiwork all the same. Like the drawings it had two big almost comically oversized bunny ears and a noodle-like tail. Why couldn't Danny just pick ONE animal to draw? Layha had no idea but she liked this creature... it was unique... like Danny. The obvious stitching also had the advantage of being really good for the plushie's smile. Nice and easy to see. That'd help if Danny had vision problems when he woke up, like the doctor warned might happen... if he woke up at ALL that was. The doll also had two bright green buttons for eyes. One was slightly smaller then the other but that didn't bother her and she hoped it wouldn't bother him either. Halfway through it's right ear she had run out of blue fabric so she had finished it with a big patch of pink fabric. Was it her imagination... or had Danny somewhat curled himself around the doll as if he were using it as some kind of protection talisman? That was kinda cute... Layha felt a tear slide down her cheek... she missed him SO much... it kind of felt like he was dead but somehow the feeling was worse because she knew he was still alive but could still die at any moment. Or worse... she'd have to pull the plug on him herself. That was a horrible thought... she took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. Luckily it worked. Joey (who had been mostly quiet for the whole visit) came over and put her hand on her shoulder. "He'll be okay..." he said comfortingly. "He loves you too much to leave..." as if to prove Joey's point Danny immediately mumbled something and yawned. "Danny?" said Layha grabbing his hand. "Are you awake?" She looked at his face and found herself staring into Danny's bright green eyes and Danny's bright green eyes staring back into hers looking drowsy and confused. The two practically trampled each other trying to hug him. "YOUR AWAKE!" Joey yelled. "Y-you were asleep for so loooooong!" Layha just broke down sobbing and buried her face in his shoulder. "How long have I been asleep to make you two THIS happy that I've woken up?" "A MONTH Danny..." said Layha seriously. "You've been asleep for a MONTH"

I'm sorry this so short I just kinda wanted a chapter to explain where the Riggy plush came from so I wouldn't have to midway through the next chapter or smth. -Sillys23

I'm just so glad he's back <3 ~ 💚
