Danno groaned as he sat up; the first thing he felt was Joey and Layha crash-tackling him with a hug. "Y-you were asleep for so loooooong," said Joey tearfully. Layha just sobbed into his shoulder. "How long have I been asleep for to make you 2 THIS happy that I've woken up?" "A MONTH, Danny," said Layha seriously. You've been asleep for a MONTH. Danno felt the blood drain out of his face. "A MONTH???" He asked shakily, "Y...you're kidding...r-right?" Joey swallowed hard. "Yeah..." he said softly. "We were all starting to think you were dead..." "You actually DID die for a second," said Layha suddenly. "W H A T???" Said Danno sharply. "Well," said Layha, "when you just got to the hospital..." She paused for a second. "You...your heart flatlined for TWO minutes...you stopped breathing and everything...we were all convinced you'd die...but then that heart of gold you have started back up and so did your breathing...it was like nothing had happened...your family nearly cried with relief..." Joey and Layha finally let go of him, and he stared at them in disbelief. "Damn..." he said. "Yeah," said Joey. "Damn indeed."

*************************************** 2 weeks later ***************************************

"Yeah, Mrs. Callahan," said the doctor, "he SHOULD be fine..." Danno's mom smiled with relief. "Okay," she said. "Thank you...come on, Danny—" but Danno wasn't there... "Danny?" She asked with a note of panic creeping into her voice, "Danny!?" Danno was fine, don't worry...he was just back in the waiting room talking to the poor lost bunny girl he had found. She was this weird purplish-blue color, which was pretty strange for a rabbit, but Danno didn't question it...she was lost, and she needed him...and that was all that currently mattered to him. So he didn't question the fact that she was wearing a dress either...and that's how this whole mess began...
