It felt like reality just... skipped ahead without him or something. One moment he was sitting in the kitchen laughing at Riggy's stupid Cookie Monster jokes... the next he was sitting under the oak tree in the backyard holding his phone. It was like something had flipped a switch in his brain that turned off his consciousness and just let his body run on autopilot. Danno turned on his phone and saw a text from Jonny

Ayearinwafflevally: "hey Danny! We need to discuss plans for the Christmas Party we're having at my place. Cuz Xmas is in 4 months 🎄💅💅"

The message had been sent an hour ago. Maybe Danno's brain just knew he needed some peace and quiet, away from Riggy's chaos to talk with Jonny about the party.

Thepeacefulraincloud: "hey. Sorry I took so long... Riggy was being a little silly-goofy lol. I'll send you a video w/all my ideas :D"

Danno flipped on his camera and started recording all his ideas. He was right in the middle of his recording when he heard Riggy yell: "THERE YOU ARE!" And then he came stumbling into Danno's face. "What are you doing?" He asked curiously tapping at Danno's phone. "I'm recording my plans for a Christmas party I'm gonna have with my friends... I'm going to try and introduce you and Rosey to my friends and family! Is that okay with you?" "Yep..." said Riggy. "As long as I'm not busy." Danno giggled "I'm going to make you wear a little Santa hat I bought. It's adooooorable!" Riggy made a face. "Over my dead decaying body" Danno laughed again and they both were quiet for a while when Riggy piped up again. "So... are you going to post the video on your media platform Orrrrrr...?" "You mean on YouTube? No... I'm just recording my ideas because I'll forget them if I don't haha... when did you see I post stuff on YouTube?" Riggy shrugged "eh... I just saw them when you left your phone off last week why's that?" Danno bit his lip. He didn't know why he was so nervous. Maybe his anxiety was acting up again "Oh I just wondered if you had YouTube in... werever you come from..." "oh..." said Riggy Danno noticed his eyes unfocused a little bit. "No... I don't THINK we have..." he trailed off probably trying to remember the name of the platform. "YouTube?" Danno asked. "Yeah that" said Riggy. "I don't think we have YouTube..." "oh okay" said Danno but then he had a brainwave. "Say... Riggy..." he said casually. "You seem kind of interested in YouTube huh?" "Well yeah" said Riggy his tail flicking. "It sounds pretty cool..." "wellll" said Danno. "As you know I have a YouTube channel... but every channel needs a Mascot... how would you like to be mine?" "What do you mean?" Said Riggy raising an eyebrow. "I mean how would you like to be my... I dunno... employee? Do some poses for my videos... talk if you want to? Hours will be... mmmmh... 4PM-7PM? Your pay would beeeee... thirty... dollars an hour? Forty... dollars an hour? What do you say?" Riggy made the face he always made when he was trying to push his five braincells to make a decision. "So 40$ an hour... and four working hours a day... that's twenty-eight hours a week... so that's 1,280$ a week..." "okay..." said Danno putting up his hands. "Maybe not THAT much pay... I'm not made of money Riggs!" "That's still a DECENT amount" said Riggy playing with his hands. "And that's like... 40% higher then my old job... sure! I'll do it!" "Great! It's official then!" Said Danno sticking out his hand and the two of them shook on it. This was gonna be awesome.
