"Hey! Kal, watch this." One of the guys nudged me and I turned to see the seat at the back of the room in the corner empty, with Jake standing behind it. I watched as he put some kind of white stuff on the chair then walked away.

I looked at the pot in his hand, super glue.

The guys all jeered, me includd as I waited for the show.

3 minutes before the bell signalling the start of class rang a girl walked in. She had massive glasses on that were misty and completely stopped anyone from seeing her eyes, her red hair was messy with fine hairs messed up everywhere.

She was wearing sweat pants and a baggy jumper even though it was summer. The girls started whispering "Ewww. Who wears that kind of stuff?" and "Oh, I wonder what Jake did, this is going to be funny."  And I knew it would

I watched as the girl walked then plonked into the seat, thankfully the glue had dried just enough to not make a noise.

I watched as she pulled out a thick book that she was almost finished and her English stuff before pulling open the book and sticking her nose into it.

I didn't know how she could possibly see a thing with her glasses so cloudy like that.

The bell rings almost making me jump and Miss. Laker walks in followed by Mr. Walker. I feel the familiar tug between soul mates. It's quite rare to naturally find them without any help but some people do. Miss.Laker and Mr.Walker are prime examples of people finding true love without one of us, one with the love powers.

My instincts are telling me to go up and get them together but my logic keeps me in my seat. a) It would look weird. I kinda have a reputation and b) Miss.Laker isn't my assignment.

"Is Poppy Frall here today?" Mr. Walker asked and a few Yes' rippled through the class room. A girl stood up, she was wearing short shorts and a tank top then followed Mr. Walker out and Miss. Laker started the boring lesson on Much ado about nothing.

I sighed as I awaited the bell to ring. It finally did and everyone stayed seated. "Ok. Liesma, you can go." She pointed to the red head in sweats.

She nodded then stood up, bringing the chair that was now stuck to her ass with her. She looked and her cheeks flamed red.

I burst into laughter along with the others then the entire class was laughing beside one girl who was looking at Liesma with sympathy.

I noticed Liesma's fists clench before she placed the legs of the chair on the floor and crossed her legs calmly. Everyone continued to laugh but she just picked up her book and continued reading.

Miss. Laker glared at me and the others. "Everyone leave apart from you Maye." We all started to walk off when Miss. L stopped us.

"Kalix, Jackson, James, Luke and Drew. Go to the head-masters office. NOW." She rarely shouted but her top student getting her butt stuck to a chair as a practical joke was probably a good explanation for the action.

I groaned and trudged out into the hallway where hundreds of students were busy pushing their way past me and the guys.

"That was hilarious!" Jackson a.k.a Jake laughed which followed with a round of hi-fives.

"Did you see her face? It was bright red! She looked like a  tomato with sunburn!" I laughed remembering her face as she sat down, her ass still stuck to the chair.

"And then the way she sat down..." Luke started but we stopped as we stood outside the headmaster's office. we knocked and waited patiently.

I fiddled with my car keys in my pocket. I had got them for my 17th birthday back in october. It was mid July now. only a few more days till the summer hols. That means Booze, Sun, Girls, Parties and girls.

I was thinking about the beaches and all these girls when the head-masters door swung open. Thankful I hadn't gotten a hard on from imagining girls in bikini's

"Now, You probably all know why you are sent here. And at this school we do not tolerate silly practical jokes." The head master snapped.

"You have been called in quite alot with complaints about your behaivour towards Miss. Smith, some may say you are even bullying the poor girl." At that moment there was a soft knock at the door.

"Enter." The headmaster boomed.

Liesma Smith walked in, she was wearing light grey sweatpants instead of the black ones she had been wearing, Her red hair was tied in a messy ponytail and her cheeks were still red.

"Ah, Miss Smith. Please take a seat." He gestured to a chair near us but not right next to us. Liesma nodded then sat down, carefully sweeping her hadn over the seat just to check which made me snigger.

The headmaster glared at me and Liesma took her glasses off.

I was prepared to see her eyes for the first time ever but she made sure to look at her lap so I couldn't see the colour. There was nothing more annoying than not being able to see someones emotions.

She cleaned the msity glasses then placed them back on her face before raising her head again.

She sat with her spine rigid straight and her chin up slightly. She crossed her legs and placed her hands on her knee. "Snob." I thought.

Everyone looked at me. I noticed Liesma's hands clench in a fist and the Headmaster was going red.

"Kalix Canini. Watch your tongue." I then realised I had thought outloud.

"Woops." I said sarcastically, shrugging my shoulders.

What a great way to end the day stuck in after school detention. What made it worse was the detention room was next to the library and as people squashed thei faces up to the glass to see who had a detention I showed them the finger.

I watched the clock tick slowly. 10...Tick...9....Tock....8.....Tick......7......Tock. I continued like that until the bell on the teachers desk rung out, crisp and clear.

"You are excused." He glared at us down his hawk nose and I grinned and rushed out of the detention room.

I looked to see Liesma sitting reading her book. I sat down in front of her but she kept her face in the same angle. If she had moved her eyes I didn't know due to those cloudy glasses.

I reached forward and grabbed the book. "Whatcha reading?" I asked. She leant forward to grab the book but I held it above my head and pretended to be reading it.

"You don't talk much." I commented while reading a rather gory book that made me squirm slightly. I looked to see a large smirk on Liesma's face.

She reached forward to grab the book again but gave up halfway through. She huffed through her nose then pulled her backpack up, rummaging around until she pulled out another book. Anna dressed in blood. Another gory one I guessed. (A/N Anna dressed in blood is awesome)

She opened it to near the back and continued reading. I fold the corner of the page in the book I took from her and place it on the table then take her other book and do the same.

"I said you don't talk much." She raised her head then, I couldn't tell what colour her eyes were but I could see them slightly from across the table. she was looking straight into my eyes. I still couldn'#t read any emotions or see their mysterious colour but I could see where they were.

She shrugged then reached down. I could've sworn she whispered I don't talk to idiots  before coming back up with yet another book. I sighed and pushed the two books towards her. She raised an eyebrow and I moved my chair out.

I saw a small smile of relief flit across her mouth but it was gone when I walked behind her chair, Bent down and picked up her bag, slinging it over my shoulder I ran out of the library and down the stairs towards my car.
