Powers (Slow Updates)

Eight

The good side won. I ran forward and slammed into the man, pushing him away from Liesma making him drop a cloth onto Liesma's face.

I heard scuffling from behidn me as I slammed my fist into the mans face. I took a picture on my phone for the cops and slammed his head on the ground.

he punched me in my face until I hit his head again and his body stilled. I tested his pulse and there was still one there.

I turned around to Liesma who was sitting on the floor, her dress pulled over her underwear, her hair a mess and her head in her lap. I walked over to where she was sitting, there was blood coming from my nose but Liesma was the priority hear. She had almost gotten raped.

I squatted down and took her hand. she flinched away from me and let out a small whimper. "Don't touch me. Please don't rape me. Please." She cried. "Liesma." I whispered and she shook her head. "Go away Kalix. Don't hurt me please. Please Kalix. No one can see me like this. Don't hurt me. I know I'm weak and a crybaby. I'm sorry just don't be mean to me." She cried. 

I sighed and lifted her up bridal style. her heels were missing. "No. Please don't chuck me in the bin." she clung to my shirt and I chuckled.

"Liesma calm down. You stink of chloroform," She let out anothher sob and I realised that the cloth that fell on her face. No wonder she was slightly out of it.

"Liesma how much did you breathe in." The tug on my shirt loosened and I looked to see her unconcious. I hurried to my car and helped her in the seat, buckling her up. I grabbed my phone adn called the cops, telling them what happened. I managed to transfer my power through the phone so they wouldn't want to speak to us just arrest the man and it took a hell of a lot of energy out of me.

I drove to Liesma's house and helped her inside. Kaizy was sitting there petting the dog. "OMG What happened!" Kaizy ran over and took Liesma out of my arms letting me collapse into a chair. 

"Someone tried to rape Liesma. She breathed in some chloroform. I beat up the dude before he could do anything but he was close. The cops have him. I used alot of power that's why I'm exhausted.

Kaizy hurried up the stairs, super speed being an air power thing, She came down and started to talk to me but the exhaustion blocked her out. I needed to recharge. I had used alot of power. The world started to fade before I blacked out.

I woke up with a start. There was a note on my face and I took it off and read it

Went Home, Look after that girl she was screaming through the night. love Kai x

I showered and changed before walking to Liesma's room and knocking. There was no answer. There's a rule against going in her room but this was urgent. I pulled open the door to see Liesma curled up crying.

"Liesma." I walked over to her and sat down on the plain white sheets of her bed. The room was empty apart from an alarm clock, make up that my sister had left and some photos of a woman who looked alot like her and a man who looked like the boy next to the cut out space.

She turned to look at me with red puffy eyes. She must've slept with the contacts in.

"It's not good to sleep with contacts. Take them out." She nodded and took the contacts out, putting them in a case then grabbed her glasses and pushed them on her face.

"Thank You." Her voice was dry, quiet and raspy. I noticed a glass of water on her bedside table and gave it to her to drink. She took it and sipped it.

"You thought I would let you get raped?" My voice was soft and quiet, I heard chloroform gave you headaches.

"Yes." She answered truthfully in her normal voice, I could detect pain and sadness in the words.

"Why?" She raised her head and bit her lip.

"Because all you do is call me names, make fun of me, pull pranks on me." She dropped her head again, messy red curls falling over her face. 

"Can you just quit an assignment?" She asked out of the blue. I shook my head no.

She frowned at that.

"Cos I don't want to find my soul mate. I don't have one." She shrugged and stood up, stretching. I thought things were gonna end fine before she said.

"You just broke another rule. Strike 2." Then walked off to the bathroom carrying her usual clothes in her hands. I grabbed the clothes quickly and placed the folded ones Kai had left out. She frowned at them but continued to walk into the bathroom. 

My stomach growled at me. Reminding me that I hadn't eaten since lunchtime yesterday so I hurried down and made my self a sandwich.

"WHAT THE HECK!" Liesma shouted as she saw me. I had flour in my hair and over my shirt, Orange juice was all over the floor aswell as a broken egg by the fridge. The flour covered the floor along with rice and some lettuce. 

"I was making a sandwhich?" I shrugged looking innocent. She was turning bright red and was glaring at me through dull grey contacts.

"HOW CAN YOU MAKE THIS MUCH MESS MAKING A FUCKING SANDWHICH!" she shouted, her face returning to tan as calm surrounded her. Just then there was a knock at the door.

"Clean it up. Properly." She glared at me one last time before opening the door.

"Holy crab cakes Liesma you look amazing! Are your eyes really that colour?" Maye's voice.

"No. They're contacts. Come in." Liesma shot me a look that said hurry up and I quickly started cleaning. As I put a glass up on the shelf one of the plates fell down and smahsed on the tiles.

"Shit." I cursed as Maye and Liesma came rushing in.

"You Idiot!" "Lie, what the hell is Kalix Canini doing in your house?"

Liesma sighed. "Yeah Lie." I placed my hand on the counter and Liesma rolled her eyes. I went to act cool and my hadn hit the orange juice on the side I slipped and landed on my butt.

Liesma and Maye burst out laughing as Maye took a photo on her phone. "I still need answers." Instantly Maye was calm again.

Liesma groaned and walked into the living room while I tried to finish cleaning up the kitchen.

A/N 

I got 3 chapters up in 1 day. Not bad I say! SO yea. Sorry if it was a bit rushed but hey ho. My inspiration ran out. Tried to put something funny in there. I got annoyed with Lie's glasses so I changed them to coloured contacts and I think green suits red heads and makes them look pretty.

And Lie almost got raped 0.0 But luckily Kalix saved the day! :D Maybe Kalix isn't so bad after all

(Although he does use girls)

(And Is extremely cocky)

(Not to mention Mean to Lie)

(And his family)

(And irritating)

(And extremely hot. Well in my mind ;) )
