Thirteen

Something wet was touching my cheek. I groaned and reached up to wipe it off, my eyes opening then instantly closing due to the bright sunlight. A damp soaked me and made me shiver. I tried opening my eyes again and sat up, the back of my head ached.

"Oh so you're awake now." I looked to see Liesma sitting on a plastic chair in her sweats and a long sleeved shirt eating some toast. The large dog sat next to her, it's head tilted slightly and it's tongue lolling out of it's mouth.

Liesma's blue eyes looked at me, probably finding a way to tell me off... but for what... Suddenly the memories came rushing back. "I didn't get to see your eyes!" I groaned. waste of power. I heard the sound of plate on plastic before Liesma was above me. She held out a hand and I took it, standing up off the grass. 

As soon as I was standing she dropped my hand and glared at me. I looked straight into her eyes, trying to see some emotion. "If you EVER try to force me to show you my eyes physically, emotionally or using your magic powers I swear to every single deiti out there that I will kick that sexy ass of yours out of this house!" I  gave her my classic smirk "You think my ass is sexy?"

Immedietly a blush spread across Liesma's face "No! I... I.. It's Just... Umm." The blush spread so her entire face and neck was red. I couldn't contain my laughter anymore. I was on the verge of tears as I laughed at her.

"Hey!" She cried before a weight landed on me, knocking me to the ground and her palms started hitting my chest. I caught her hands and she struggled to pull them out. " Are you ticklish?" I asked as an idea formed in my head. "Wha...KALIX!" She screamed as I tickled her sides. She rolled so I was above her tickling her. 

She was laughing and screaming while trying to push me off. "Lix! Stop! Please!" I froze. No one had called me Lix for 12 years. Mr and Mrs Pelica and their children used to call me it. 

"Why did you call me Lix?" I looked down at Liesma whos eyes were wide. "Cos Kalix shortens to Kal and Lix Or Alix. Lix was easier to say while laughing." She was hiding her voice but that dog nudged me again. I'm starting to think the dog can read Liesma's mind and is telling me not to pry or something. 

"revenge  bitch!" I looked at Liesma and just as I was about to ask what she started trying to tickcle me. "Not ticklish!" I smirked. "NO FAIR!" Liesma moaned crossing her arms and pouting. A weight on my back caused me to collapse onto Liesma. "Get off!" Liesma started to hit my arms but there was a giant furry mass on my back.

"Tell that to your dog!" She clicked her fingers and the dog jumped off, allowing me to sit up. Liesma's hands were still on my biceps as she raised an eyebrow expectantly. "What?" I asked then she directed to my legs which were straddling hers. I smirked. "Admit that I have the sexiest ass in the world then I'll get off of you."

She groaned and folded her arms again. "Fine. You have the sexiest ass in the world." "Without the sass" "You have the sexiest ass in the world that puts all other asses to shame." "Thank you." I stood up and held me hand out, I hoisted her up and walked into the house while she complained about how the grass was wet.

As I walked inside the phone rang so I picked it up. "Hello, Kalix Speaking." "Kalix! Urm... Can I speak to Avix please." I recognised the voice but it was probably one of the people from school. "Avix James Someone's on the phone for you!" I called out. She ran in and grabbed the phone from me, shooing me out.

I Couldn't help but eavesdrop, especially if it was another date. "You're such an Idiot! I told you to use the mobile!" "Because of you that's why!" "Be more careful!" "You completely Failed! I said No images!" "Yeah, You needed one, So Make one!" "Not that one!" "I could've been!" "I saw the note!" "That's like robbing a bank then walking to the cops to tell them who did it with the money and gun still in your hand!" "No! Don't come over!" "Because he lives here!" "He will definately recognise you." "We are not going to discuss this there!" "Fine, I'll see you there." I heard the faint beep of the phone being placed back in the holder before I ran into the living room and sat on the sofa.

"So?" "Just a coldcaller." She shrugged it off but I knew it wasn't. "I'm going to change then I'm heading out. Don't destroy the kitchen." She ran up the stairs and whenshe came down she was wearing large white raybans with a white vest blue shorts and blue pumps. She grabbed her bag and I pretended I had just got a text. "I'm gonna go round and hang with Jake for a bit," She nodded then walked out the door. I waited until I heard her drive off then I ran to my car and got in, following her.

She got out of her car and walked to the Costa coffee. I was wearing a hat over my hair and I had stolen her new brown contacts. I walked in and order a coffee before sitting so I was facing Liesma's back. 

Liesma kept moving her head towards the door and when a tall man walked in I heard her breathe a sigh of relief. 

The man had dark skin and dark hair which was curly and close to his head. He was quite well built and looked about 18. He spotted Liesma and sat down. As he sat I saw him move his legs in last. There was only one person I knew who sat like that. Luke. The guy took his shades off revealing eyes, one of them clouded. It was Luke. Wait, what was he doing here.

"When I said forge a photo I didn't mean make the child from the 80's!" They where whispering but I heard them perfectly since I was close and my hearing was good. I pretended to read a newspaper while drinking my coffee listening to the conversation.

"Well Hey, You didn't get caught out. Kal is a bit on the thick side really. His parents asked for the assignment and gave their address I didn't know it was them till you called me up aqnd Said it was Kalix who had your assignment." I heard Liesma sigh before she spoke next. "Was the paper forged and sealed."  I saw him nod. "Tell me the details. Kalix wouldn't let me see the report properly."

"Well there was that one picture then it said Liesma Smith and that was it, and the note." I noticed Luke cringe, provbably getting a glare from Liesma. "You have destroyed the real one right. Because if someone found that one... and they knew me and what I had done. I would die. I didn't know I would be killed!" "I'm not sure if they do that anymore." "I think they do. You lied to me." "Liesma, calm down, the air is drying up." Luke spoke quickly and quietly. I felt the air around me dry up before it went back to normal. "Leave 2 minutes after me." Liesma sighed and started to put things into her bag. "Avix, How are you, cos of you know, yesterday was the night of the stars." "As I always am."

I walked out the shop casually and got into my car, moving it around the corner. I then parked it and got out. I watched Liesma walk out then precisely 2 minutes later Luke came out of the shop. As he walked I walked behind him, catching up to him I put an arm around his shoulder and steered him into a corner. "What the..." "Luke, buddy what a surprise to see you here!" He turned to look at me, eyes widening in shock.

"Time for a nice little chat." I suggested. Preparing to put all of hell on him.
