I rested against the side of my car, swinging her backpack on my finger. It was tempting to go through it but not even I was that mean, even with my curse I respected privacy. A bit.

You are probably wondering why I keep talking about curses and powers. well the thing is some people, like me, have powers. Mine is love. The good thing is I'm Very Persuasive. Bad thing, and this is the curse, is that I have trouble falling in love myself and am quite competitive and of course, slightly meaner than normal people.

I looked up when I heard the door burst open. I looked to see Liesma standing in the sunlight as the doors slammed shut behind her.

I was surprised she wasn't hot with the thick clothing she had on. Come to think of it I didn't know what she looked like. Her face always looked palein the fake lighting of the school but as the sunlight hit it it looked almost tanned. Her red hair was the only definate feature about her.

I studied her curiously, trying to see her eyes behind the misty glasses but they had darkened into sun glasses.

Her head turned and she stormed over to me. She reached to grab her bag but I held it out of her grasp, above her head. She clenched her fists and tried to get the bag.

"Speak and I'll give it to you. You're so quiet. it's irritating." She looked like she was about to say something but her lips thinned in a line and she crossed her arms before walking off.

I looked confused before she walked to the other side of my bugati and climed onto the top.

"No! Get off! That's my baby!" I shouted but she ignored me, making a purpose scuff on the bonnet. The perfect bonnet that I had kept so nice and new.

My mouth popped open as I glared at her. She just shrugged her shoulders and placed her hand out, palm up. asking for the bag silently.

"No. Not until you speak." I heard her growl quietly before she grabbed the bag. I pushed her off and she landed on the floor with a thud. I noticed a faint expression of pain cross her face although I couldn't see her eyes but it vanished as fast as it had come.

She pushed herself up and stood in a defensive stance.

"Give." She growled out in an extremely deep voice that I knew she was putting on. "In your normal voice." I added, she raised a slender eyebrow to look at me then cocked ehr hip to the side and folded her arms as if to say, You said speak not in my own voice I growled and chucked her bag at her.

She caught it, much to my suprise, but I simply took the three books she had placed on the floor and put them in my car. "This is reparation for my baby." I ran a finger lightly over the door of the car before getting in and slamming the door, giving her a glare as I drove off.

I parked my car next to the many others in the garage from my mansion and walked out. Yes, My family is loaded. My mum was an actress/model for a while and my dad is a director. If you haven't guessed they both have powers aswell.

I walked in to the smell of roast lamb and my stomach quickly started to growl. "Mum! Dad! I'm home!" I called, dropping my bag in the hall. I walked into the living room to see both my parents sitting on the sofa, looking at me, with their arms folded.

"Hi?" I asked.

"We heard you got a detention today. Care to explain?" I cursed then pulled an apologetic smile.

"I forgot my homework," My parents said at the same time I said the lousy excuse.

"We know the truth." I groaned and plonked onto the other sofa.
