I pulled open the cupboard and hung on the door like I always did, causing the door to creak slightly. I groaned as I noticed we were low on stuff. "I guess I could do the food shopping till Liesma wakes up since I have nothing to do." I closed the door and rested my head on it.
What doesn't Liesma want me to know? Is her file down there? Why is she so against getting a soulmate? I banged my head against the door and groaned. Why couldn't I have gotten a nice, normal assignment with a person who a) wants a soul mate and b) is liked by everybody so it's not hard.
I grabbed my wallet and keys off the side and patted the dog on the head twice. I strolled to the door and swung it open, witnessing dark clouds in th esky and my beautiful bugatti sitting out in the open. "I need to find the keys for the garage." I made a mental note then shut the door behind me, locking it with Liesma's house keys since I had lost mine. I studied the keys. There were about 3 keys and one tiny keyring.
I looked closely to see it was a small piece of Amber wrapped in leather and attached to the ring, while I walked to my car I studied the stone itself, inside it was a cricket and a fire wheel. "This has to be the luckiest charm ever." I smiled to myself as I pulled open the door and slid in to the leather seats.
"Hey baby." I whispered to my car, sweeping my hand lovingly over the dash board. I slid the key into the ignition and turned it, letting my baby purr to life.
I smiled as I pulled out of the driveway and onto the road, heading for the nearest Tesco.
I pulled up in a spot where It would be hard to get bumped and climbed out. I looked at the large building and sighed. "This is why my mum and Liesma do the shopping." I walked in and grabbed a basket before wandering up and down the aisles, chucking things I thought we might need in. "What does Liesma have for breakfast?" She was normally awake and ready before I even got up so I really had no idea what so ever.
As I was walking I spotted some matches and quickly threw them into the basket. If Liesma was gonna keep using will power against me I might aswell have a back up plan. You're gonna burn her? No, I'm gonna use the match to scare her but I won't harm her or set fire to anything. After settling my concious I didn't see the guy in front of me until I bumped into him.
"Oh, sorry dude." He looked up and I thought I recognised him but I couldn't put my finger on it. "Oh, it's you, Kal man, Big fan. Can you tell me your secret?" I raised an eyebrow. "Do I know you?" The guy smiled, he was shorter than me by a couple of inches.
"Nah, But i've heard alot about you man. Well, I better be off. cya." with that he walked off. WHERE HAVE I SEEN HIM! My mind was racing as I placed some more stuff in my basket. I mean he was kinda hard to forget. He had extremely pale blonde almost white hair and eyes that looked black. I would've definately recognised him so why can't I remember where or when!
I scratched my head as I walked out into the rain. "Great. My baby is gonna get soaked." I hurried to my car and pushed the bags of stuff into the back, pocketing the matches. I quickly made sure to cover the seat with a towel before sitting down incase I ruined the leather then hurried out of the car park and back to Liesma's flat.
When I opened the door the dog instantly jumped me and started barking. "Keep your woof down mutt!" I hissed as I carried the bags inside, locking the car then shutting the door gently. The dog barked again and this time came running towards me with a lead.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" I looked out the window to see the rain slamming against the pavement. "Liesma better not charge me rent when she wakes up!" I clipped the lead onto the dog's collar and pocketed Liesma's keys. I quickly got to the door and soon I was out in the rain. I wanted to cry at the sight of my beautiful car covered in rain.
