2. Just Friends

        After a couple of hours asking questions back and forth about each other, we had both finished our drinks to the very last drop. It is also fair to say that we now know each other better and to my surprise we had quite a number of things in common, all the way from food to music to movies. Who would've thought someone like him would enjoy movies such as Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs AND The Other Woman? Is he pulling a Hans on me? I sure hope not because that would suck so bad. I looked outside and noticed the sunset making me realize how late it was. Luke must have noticed because he stood up and said "We should probably go now." Him almost dropping his phone, gave my heart a little scare seeing his phone didn't have a casing but thank God he didn't drop it.

        As we were walking out of Starbucks, it was pretty calm with the sunset infront of us and there weren't that many people around. But I mentally cursed at myself after, when a camera flash went off. Within seconds Luke and I were swarmed by paparazzi and screaming fans. Everyone shouting "Luke Hemmings! Luke Hemmings! Over here!" Questions were being yelled from every direction. It wasn't something I'm used to, it was overwhelming. I started to calm down when I felt Luke's hand on the small of my back. He smiled at the cameras and waved at some fans while leading me away. He is definitely making me fall so hard for him.

        We approached a black car in a parking lot and next thing I knew I was sitting in Luke's car on our way back to my hotel. When we arrived, I gave Luke a quick hug, telling him to text me when he's home before making my way to the lobby. We had exchanged numbers back at Starbucks because Luke claimed that we needed to "hang out again."

        When I got to my room, I threw my bags of clothes that I bought on the floor, went to the bathroom for a quick shower and I am currently lying in bed in my pyjamas. I was about to fall asleep when my phone dinged with a text from Luke saying that he got home safe. A few minutes later my phone rang with Luke's face on my screen. He must've put that in when he saved his number. I answered the call smiling to myself, "Hey Luke." "Hello! Got home not long ago, took a shower and now I'm in bed. I assume you're in bed too?" he said. "Yeap! Falling asleep though. Tired, but today was amazing thank you," I said yawning. I heard silent laughs from the other end of the line before he answered, "Well missy before you go to bed, I was wondering if you'd like to go out tomorrow?" I laughed, "You see I'm on a vacation and I'm not familiar with Sydney so I don't know." He remained silent for abit before answering.

        "What if I come get you and we could go somewhere together? I could be your personal tour guide! Make it a second date?" I was shocked when he said 'second date' but what the hell. "Okay Luke. I'll go out with you. But it doesn't have to be a second date to get me to go out with you. We could go out as just friends." I said laughing. "Hush my child. I'll pick you up at 9 o'clock! Be ready!" He said. I could hear the smile in his voice. "Okay! See you tomorrow Luke! Nighties." "Goodnight Charlotte! Sweet dreams."

        Locking my phone after setting my alarm and putting it on the beside table. Getting really comfortable with the bed eventhough it was my first night. I shut my eyes falling asleep dreaming of his beautiful blue eyes.
