"I'm on my way" I mind linked to the pack members fighting with the fire. I really hope archive is alright or not so damaged because I started digitalization of it just a few weeks ago. There are all the important documents about our targets and clients.
On top of all the missions we've completed I hide there also some other things that would protect us if werecouncil would come at us.

The struggle of having the headquarters in the center of the city is that we can't travel in the wolf form and all this traffic is really killing me now!!
I have so many things to think about now - fire, traffic, Nina's offer...
"Garret... do you think it's a good idea to move the whole pack to Nina's?" I asked rubbing my forehead because I'm feeling like headache is trying to add it's share to my problems.

"Honestly Alpha... it's not necessary. We can stay in the woods for the night, we can go eat at the restaurant and we can shower in a gym. Also all the remaining things that will survive the fire we can store in a storages around the city. There's no need to move in the whole pack."
As always, Garret is pragmatic and practical Beta that every Alpha would love and hate to have.
"Besides we would have to restrain from using all the werewolf things in the conversation so that she will not know. As a Beta I am telling you her offer is irrelevant to our problem."
I can't but agree and hate him now.

I could've been sleeping under the same roof as my mate! Cadain was thrilled by that possibility and now he wants to murder Garret as much as I do. But he's is right. There are too many cons talking against Lindy Highs.
And it looks like he wasn't done yet. Seriously, how many wrong things can he find?
"It's a nice gesture for a human and there's really high risk of exposing wereworld... But I understand that it could be great chance for you to sort that mating pull out."
Did I just heard right? My tortured heart might keep the hope now.
"What do you mean?"

"I think it's better to tell her when the whole pack will be there. First she will see she's surrounded by werewolfs so she will not be able to walk away from you and think you're crazy but to actually let it sink and make the decision.
Second the pack will be right there to accept their Luna if Nina will accept you.
Third Lindy Highs is actually great strategic point for our next mission and because no other packs know about that place they will not be able to find us there."

With all the pros coldly stated by him it seems absolutely logical and as the only option now. My heart and Cadain are feeling very fond of Garret now. Love and hate relationship right here!
"So you think I should accept the offer." I said assuring myself I understood my Beta well.
"Well... I'm only saying even though all the pack members will be against it and from all other angles it's not necessary maybe even stupid to move in the house with a human it can benefit you to some extent."
Garret's diplomatic answer brought even more doubts to me.

"And if it doesn't works out and she rejects you you can always kill her and we will help you clean the mess. I'm sure Anita will be more than happy to take care of certain things." He added with a smirk. Now he's terrifying me by threatening to kill my mate.. well... by saying I would kill my mate...

This situation is so tricky. I also have to find out how the fire started and save
as much as we can. Lindy Highs is really good location to be in for our next mission and actually that house looks like perfect pack house - big house and garden with a fence, woods nearby and quiet neighborhood. Maybe I should ask other members too... or at least I should talk to Warren. I might be Alpha but we have rules - our personal priorities needs to be in sync with the direction of the whole pack so if yours is not important enough it has to wait. We've worked hard to get where we stand now and I can't ruin it just for my mates' sake. I know that.

I have to make that decision before I enter our level because I need to take steps accordingly.
"Do we need a place for the whole pack to stay?" I mind linked to Warren.
"It's not necessary. But it would be useful to have an access to computers so all the members can submit their entrance reports again. Archive got it bad."
Warren's answer made my heart start racing in excitement. I will take a chance then.

Garret stopped the car on the opposite side of the street from our building because of the firefighters trucks blocking the road on the side where the entrance is. As I'm getting out of the car to go to our level I said to Garret.
"I'll see what has left of our stuff but I think we will have to go shopping. You'll probably have to go and buy 10 computers and some tablets as well. We'll need to submit entrance reports again."

Garret just nodded and I closed the door and crossed the street. On my way to the elevator I took the phone out of my pocket and with my shaking fingers I searched for a certain number. I almost couldn't find it even though it's the first one in the list because of all of that trembling. Finally I managed to select the contact and my floating finger dialed the number.

"Yes Alastair, I'm listening."
"I'm calling to tell you that I would like to accept your offer Nina... if it's still on."
"Of course. You are all welcomed here."
Said the sweetest voice I've ever heard.
