She's going to see him tonight! That's outrageous. I don't know how did I pass the day knowing that. I'm sure my wolf is going to rip that guy in halves the moment he gets near Nina. I need to calm down.

"Anita! Come here!" I called for my secretary. A girl in sexy red dress entered the room. As she came closer to me I grabbed her and placed her on my lap. She's used to that and she knows what's coming. She wrapped her arms around my neck and started playing with my hair.

Her perfume is sweet and it's encouraging me to smell it combined with her natural scent. She's the best I've ever had. Not just in sexual matter though. She's smart, beautiful, elegant and we share the same vision of what we want to accomplish.

I was thinking about finding a way to mark her even when she's not my mate destined by Moon Goddess... and then my mate appeared.
"You're not present Alastair." Her soft and sexy voice called me out.
"Is it because of that 'mate thing'?"
"Yes, you're right." I had to admit.
"I was almost ready to make you my Luna but Moon Goddess though different."

I can't think about any other woman except for Nina and the fact that she'll be with another man in a few hours is unbearable. Not even Anita's aphrodisiac presence can shift my mind different direction.
"Sorry Anita. Go back to your desk and wrap it up for today. I'm leaving in 10 minutes." I told eher as I lifted her from my lap. She didn't protest and left the room.

I went to organize a few accountant books that I needed for tomorrow's business meeting and then I went to garage. I took my black BMW and drove towards Lindy Highs. Owen mind-linked she's suppose to leave around 4pm and it's 3:45 when I got to her house. I parked near the bus stop and waited.

At 3:55 the door opened and Nina walked towards the bus stop. She has black mid length dress, black heels, black shawl, black small purse and black crystal necklace. She looked stunning.

I followed the bus to the Longwood area where she got off and went to the tavern called 'The Raveen'. Looks like little family pub, nothing special. She greets the owner and sits at the corner table and the owner brought her a drink. They must know her. Is she coming there often with Michael?!

She sat like that for two hours not doing anything. When her drink was about to end, owners brought her another one. No traces of Michael.
I don't even know how but I got off of my car and walked in and approached her at the table. Her little bit drunk eyes widened in surprise.
"I had to come to confront you and Michael. It's how it is." I said to her as explanation.
"Take a seat you weirdo." She signed sadly and I obeyed.

"I'm sick and tired of you after this weekend so I'll make it to end here." She said as she was sipping her drink.
"We used to come here a lot with my husband Chase."
"Another man?!" Slight growl slipped from my mouth.
"Hahahaha." She laughed sadly.
"Yes, another man. I'm not gonna tease you any longer. You've already met Michael - my son - and now you learned about my husband. Those are the only two men I'll ever let to call me 'mine'."

"Where is he?" I managed to say calmly even though my emotions were boiling within me.
"Dead..." was a shocking answer I got. I was staring at her playing with a straw not even paying attention to anything.
"He died a year ago. This is the place we loved to go together and the place where I fell in love with him."

As I'm trying to process this she continues talking with hazy story.
"I didn't expected his promise to 'paying out the house with his life insurance money' will come true so early... when he said he doesn't want his future family to be in the situation when they'll be in the total despair and have nowhere to go I knew that's the man I want to marry. And therefore my house will always be open to the ones in need just as he wanted."

What's going on? Is she really telling me her story? I don't know if I wanna know more, that's not what I'd normally do. I don't listen, I just.... I can't believe it. She's so vulnerable right now - drunk, full of emotions and alone. If she wouldn't be my mate and Moon Goddess wasn't with her I would bend her over....

But now instead I wanted to comfort her somehow so I leaned to reach her hand but she dodged me.
"You with your perfect facade, luxurious things and handsome face. You're all the women could ask for - your tall body gives a sense of safety I haven't felt for year, your piercing eyes and comforting voice together with expensive perfume... but I'm not a woman anymore." She said staring me straight in the eyes.

"I'm a widow, I'm a mother, I'm sad, I'm tired and most importantly I'm NOT INTERESTED." Her eyes were stunning when she talked to me like that - absolutely cold mixture of blue and gray - and there was no doubt it them even though the voice was a bit messed up by alcohol.

"I need to go." She said as if she suddenly remembered something important.
"I'll drive you home." I told her while getting up.
"I'm not going home." She answered as she stood up and wiggled a bit.
"I'm going to the cemetery! I'm going to talk to my husband."

That was unexpected but understandable. People drunk text their ex's so why wouldn't she go to the grave of her husband when she's drunk?
"Me too." I said without thinking.
"You are going to talk to my husband too? You were hitting on his wife and now you wanna talk to him about what?" She said suspiciously and then she bursted out in a hysterical laugh.
"You don't want to ask him a permission do you?" She continued laughing.

I could sense a concern stares of the owners. She obviously could too because she turned to them and said everything is fine while walking towards the exit.
"He knows where I live anyway." She threw the explanation over her shoulder while exiting the tavern. I was so perplexed I had to walk faster to catch up with her. I guess cemetery is not far from here.

And I was right. After like 10 minutes of silence we got to the Almorie Graveyard.
