Lunch time seemed like it would go well. The thing about being in college is you can eat lunch whenever you get a break. There were so many choices. Pizza Palace, HoagieWay, Mama Joan's, and more.
"Pizza, nice." Amelia said, plopping down next to me. She too had pizza on her plate as well as a girl next to her. "Hey, girly. This is my friend, Stacy. Stacy, this is Maria.
"Hi." I said.
"She has to warm up to new people. Give her time."
"No, it's fine. I completely understand. Hey, Maria." Stacy replied. "You got pizza, too. Good choice."
I spotted Danny across the room and waved him over.
"Hey, ladies. Well, if it isn't the newest of them all." It was the same guy from algerbra.
"Hey, Sam." Amelia responded. Stacy just waved.
"Maria, how are you enjoying your first day?" Sam asked
"It's been cool. I guess."
"Cool, cool. Well, hey, I've gotta go. See you around, new girl."
"It's Maria!" I called as he left. "Who was that?"
"That was Sam. No worries, he's cool."
"And he's everywhere." I whispered.
"Yeah, it's seems like that. Don't worry about it. It's a fairly small school. Depending on your major you'll probably see the same people a lot."
"I noticed. I've seen the same four people about five times." Danny responded.
"Tell me about it." Amelia said. "My next class starts soon."
"Same." Stacy responded.
"You guys wanna go outside?"
