"Riley,"
I couldn't avoid school today. Amelia, Stacy, and Kelli spotted me once I walked into the office. I turned in my excuse and walked towards the lockers.
"Riley, are you okay? We heard you were in hospital? What happened?"
"It wasn't me."
"Then," Kelli started, but she found out when she saw I was alone. "I'm sorry." She hugged me.
I couldn't stop the tears and I didn't want to. I cried there with three of my best friends. "I prayed about it. I prayed for him everyday. He is okay. I know he is. I'm going to visit him today."
"We'll pray for him too." Amelia said.
"Yeah, don't worry." Stacy replied.

I called Kelli to my house. Maybe it was time to explain what was going on.
"Hey, I just want you to know that I am sorry about what I said before. It doesn't matter if you don't want to,"
"Kelli?"
"You do not have to explain."
"Kelli, I have to tell you something."
