School flew by quickly. It was already Friday and we were in seventh period, one more bell away from going home."Hey, what are you doing this weekend. We could go to baskestburger. Not the one that I work at because," It was Kelli from the diner. She and I met again on the second day of school after schedule changes. We now had fifth and seventh period together.
"I can't. I am baby sitting my sister this weekend."
"She can come too."
"My parents are leaving at night and we cannot leave the house while they are not home unless we absolutely have to. I'm sorry. I can't go."
"No. It's cool. I understand."
"Next time for sure."
Ring!!!!!!!
I walked outside to see if Danny was still driving me home. When he arrived in Tannersville, he moved a couple houses down from me and my family.
"Hey, Danny. Can I have a ride?" I asked after walking up to his car.
"Actually, I needed to talk to you about that. I'm not exactly going home right now."
"Okay. Where are you going then," I was interrupted by I familiar somebody.
"Come on, Danny. I need to get to the mall before it closes."
"I'm actually lending Rita a ride to the mall." Danny said.
"Yeah, I'm aware now." I said
"You're not mad are you?"
"No, no. It's fine. I can get a ride from someone else."
"Okay. I'm still driving you Monday.
"Actually, I'm going to have my car Monday. Licensed driverr, remember?"
"Yeah, right."
"Danny, what's the hold up?" Rita called.
"Sorry, Riley. See you later, okay."
"Yeah, see you later." I said and walked toward the school parking lot to see if I could get a ride from Kelli.
