Gally's P.o.v.

I couldn't miss my opportunity, as it was staring me right in the face. Andrea was right there the last one to climb the vine. Sprinting in her direction, I waited, using the darkness to my advantage. Slowly the last person climbed, until the disappeared over the other side. Newt and Andrea, now inseparable, climbed together. Just as Newt reached the top I used this opportunity and sliced the knife through Andrea's vine. With a small scream she fell, hitting the hard earth. Smiling I examined at her, eyes intense and trademark sneer across my lips.

"Did you miss me?"

Andrea's P.o.v.

My head hurt after falling from far above, but worse my left leg was killing me.

"Did you miss me?" Gally's words rang in my ears as I stared at all three of them. Three? Oh no! Not now! I couldn't be hallucinating now. My group needed me. A leader, they needed a leader.

Using all the strength I could muster I managed to speak only a few words, "Newt! Help!"

Straining my neck I looked up to the vines hoping to see something. Someone. Anything. Everything was blurred, black and white. Laying my head down my vision started turning black and it was long before I was out cold.

Newt's P.o.v.

I made it to the top of the wall but I became worried when I couldn't feel Andrea's presence next to me. I looked to the group below waiting expectantly. Biting my lip I climbed down to the others leaving Andrea behind.

Andrea's P.o.v.

When I woke my vision and hearing was back to normal, but my head was still throbbing in discomfort. My eyes had adjusted to the light and saw sitting right in front of me was the Queen of God's herself.

"Finally awake?"

"Well, obviously." I spat.

"Don't bring that tone with me." She snarled. "You're lucky I don't send you to the fiery pits of Tartarus right now."

I bit my tongue restraining myself from saying some unholy things, "Where am I?"

"This is the very room where we helped design the Glade," She smiled proudly. "Turned out great, huh?"

Not saying a single word I stared at the floor fists clenched and toes ready to fly at any moment.

"How sad that your friends didn't stick around. They would've learned to love it there." Grabbing hold of my chin she forced me to stare into her eyes. "Especially Newt, you could've raised a family together. Such a pity he left you when you needed him most, but that wasn't the first time that's happened is it?"

I lunged at her, but was held back by Gally.

"Poor child can't face the truth. Let's refresh your memory." With a flick of her wrist I was seated back in the wooden chair.

Imaged invaded my eyesight the time when Justice and I received detention when we found out we were demigods, the day Thomas disappeared and the night where Newt went missing, the three years where I mourned for my friends and family, the time where I arrived at the Maze and Newt bad-mouthed me to all Gladers, and finally now.

Sneering in triumph Hera turned to me, "Do you see that? The times when you needed him most he was never there and he's not here now."

"You're wrong. He's always been there for me."

"And where is he now!?" Her voice rose. "He escaped! Without you."

Realization hit me I just watched who I thought was the love of my life leave me, everything I sacrificed for him, for nothing. Now here I was stuck with the one person who wanted me dead.

"Awww sweetheart reality finally hit you, huh?" She wiped the one tear that managed to escape. "There's one thing I need to tell you I wasn't being entirely honest." A door to my left opened and out poured all the 'escaped Gladers'. "Your friends here haven't escaped. They're all working for me." She beckoned them to come forth, but put her palm up to stop them. Pointing to Newt she summoned him towards us. "You've been a good little actor, hmm?"

"Anything for you my queen." His voice spoke lovingly.

"Really?" She questioned sarcastically. "Well, practice what we rehearsed."

Bending down Newt pulled a slick knife from his boot. Pulling off the cover he unsheathed a slick silver knife, walking towards me he held the hilt tightly. He put the blade to my neck without hesitation.

Pleadingly I watched him, "Newt please."

"Long live Queen Hera, ruler of all gods." And with that he let the blade sink into my skin.
