Proposal (5 out of 5 Rei Ryugazaki)

Rei was a hopeless romantic, and everyone knew that. However, he never admitted it. Today was the day he was going to prove everyone wrong. He locked himself up in his office, thinking of different ways to propose to you and make you his forever.

Your eyebrows furrowed in worry as you realized your boyfriend of 7 years hasn't come out of his office to eat or take a break. "Rei? Are you still in there?", you softly knocked on the door. "I'll be out soon.", Rei called out once again for the umpteenth time. You rolled your eyes and sighed, there was no way to get him out of there. You decided to leave him alone with his work and do some of your own.

Rei hovered over the ring, intensely staring at the diamond, hoping that it will randomly and miraculously give him an idea. He sighed and lifted his glasses a bit to rub his eyes. He placed them back in its original place and looked around his office. There were framed pictures scattered along the wall and a couple standing on his main desk, one from when you both first met, had your first date, and first kiss.

And that's when he finally thought of an idea.

~Time Skip to 2 days after~

You were returning home from work, exhausted. You hoped that Rei had finally got out of his office. You fumbled for your keys, then unlocked the door. You were greeted by your friends in the living room. "Oh! Hey, guys! What a surprise. I wasn't expecting you guys.", you laughed and took off your heels. "Today is a special day, but you'll find out later.", Nagisa said, smiling brightly. Gou suddenly took your arm and pulled you close, tying a blindfold in front of your eyes. "Eh?! Kou-san, what's going on?", you were scared and your heart was beating faster than its ever had.

You were led to some sort of vehicle by Rin and Makoto. You sat silently in the car, preparing for the worst. Shortly after, you were led out of the car by Nagisa. "Look for the clues.", he mumbled in your ear, taking off your blindfold. You looked at your surroundings, noticing you were at the local park. Nagisa stepped into the car, then Haru took off before you could say anything.

Look for the clues...

You found a familiar sakura tree with a bright yellow sticky note

This is where we had our first kiss...Now look for the spot where we had our first date. Hope you understand the rest of the clues. -Rei

You smiled. A little scavenger hunt. You were gonna finish this, no matter what. Feeling determined, you made your way up a mini hill at the same park. At the very top is where you had your first date.

It was a summer, starry night. The stars were out, and very bright. You and Rei sat at the top of the hill, looking for constellations. "Oh! I found one! I believe it's the Big Dipper!", I exclaimed, pointing up at the dark sky. Rei nodded, "I believe it is. Good job, (Y/N)-san.", he gave me a light kiss on the cheek as a reward. You looked away, not wanting him to see your tomato red face. Rei chuckled lightly and brought his hand on top of yours, "I really, really like you.", he admitted. Your face turned even more red, if that was even possible, "Same here, Rei-kun...I really like you, too."

You finally made your way to the top of the hill and found a bouquet of (Your Favorite Flower). You picked up the flowers and red the little note that was attatched.

Sorry, you're gonna have to go back home in order to receive your next clue! See you soon -Rei xx

You smiled and carefully made your way down the hill. You sped walked home, excited to see your next clue. You stood in front of the door, a note posted on it.

Go straight into our room!

You opened the door, squealing in excitement as you ran to your room. You found a beautiful lavender dress placed at the end of your bed with matching heels and a white purse. You gasped. It was the dress of your dreams. You quickly put it on and headed to the bathroom to put make up, but there a note on the door.

No make up! Go to the backyard!

You pouted slightly then scurried to the backyard. You were greeted with fairy lights you would usually use for Christmas and a table in the middle of it all. Rei stood next to the table, "You...look...amazing.", he breathed out. He pulled out the chair he stood behind. You slowly sat down and enjoyed your dinner with each other.

After you ate dinner, Rei suddenly stood up. "Stand up for me please...", you stood up and he kneeled down, "I love you...a lot. It may not seem like it at times, but I do. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. So, marry me." You let a few stray tears slip away as you nodded your head. He slid the ring onto your finger and stood up to give you a passionate kiss.
