I smoothed out my dress and gulped for the umpteenth time that night. Parties were never your thing, but being the daughter of a CEO, you were kind of forced to be a charismatic socialite.
You smiled at the guests, asking how they thought of the party and telling them to enjoy as you walked away. You encountered the Ryugazaki family who was talking amongst themselves.
"Hello, I'm (Y/L/N) (Y/N), (Father's Full Name)'s daughter and next head of the (Y/L/N) company. I hope you are enjoying the party.", you gave a closed-eye smile, offering your hand for them to shake. The father and mother shook your hand, telling you that they were having a great time. The elder son left to get a drink right before you arrived and the younger son...caught your attention.
His red-framed glasses brought out his violet eyes and his navy blue hair. He dressed well and wore a butterfly patterned tie. You stifled a laugh as you scanned his tie and cleared your throat.
"I'm sorry, I don't think we've formally met. I'm (Y/N), it's a pleasure to meet you...?", you offered your hand again.
He nervously and gently took your hand and brought it to his lips. "Rei Ryugazaki. The pleasure is all mine, (Y/L/N)-san."
You felt your face turn red and you felt your heart beat faster. "What a charmer you have here...", you sheepily smiled.
You took your leave to greet the other guests, but you felt Rei link his arm with yours.
"I shall accompany you. It is dangerous for a well-known woman to be alone at a party with alcohol, especially when they look as lovely as you", he winked.
