Dear Nathan,

Today marks five years Nate. I've tried this before, every year at this time. I've written letters to you like the letter you left me with but when I start I end up crying and having to rip it up because I can't keep going. I thought I would tell you that I cried for you, your family, and for us. We were young but we were very much in love. After being sad I became angry. I had to grieve by myself and then when I went back to school they had a small memorial for you. I sat there in the gymnasium watching as other people that barely knew you cried like they had lost you. But as I sat there I couldnt cry, not a single tear. Why? Because it felt like you were still there with your arm around me like I felt it the day I walked out of the hospital.

Your family is doing amazing. Andrew graduated as one of the top in his class. He reminds me so much of you. His smile, his eyes. Then there is Tessa, she has a boyfriend,his name is Adam Munich. I think you'd like him. Then Anna, when I fly home over the holidays from college I take her out and we just hang out. She remembers you, it helps that your parents have all of your pictures still up.

Meg and Carson are having some troubles. Meg went on to try and pursue a singing career and Carson wanted to become a doctor. It's challenging having two completely different and time consuming jobs. He once left school for a week chasing her around New York.

I needed to tell you something. I'm more than sure you already know but I feel like I'm hiding it from you. I have started dating someone. No, it's not Danny. He loves his boyfriend too much ;). But his name Tyler, he's in one of my business classes. I know you told me to move on but sometimes I find it hard.

The letter to Nathan was never completed. Casey couldn't bring herself to finish it. Her heart still belonged to Nathan but it was starting to becoming harder and harder for her to remember his voice, smile, and even his laugh. She was growing up and he wasn't. After she folded this letter up and stored it in the back of her bag she boarded her plane to visit her parents.

AN: here it is... The end. I got a lot of messages asking for an epilogue and I felt this was the best I could give you.
