Chapter 7
“Case, open the door” I heard Katie outside yelling while a baby was crying.
I jumped off the couch and ran to the front door. I opened the door and saw Katie, Chad, and baby Annabelle right outside the door.
“Finally, you answered the door” Katie grumbled
“Excuse her, she hasn’t been sleeping very well”
“Well in that case, I will be taking baby and taking her up to my room”
I grabbed Annabelle and went upstairs. I sat down on my bed and held her in my arms. She was so precious. She opened her eyes and looked up at me and smiled. I kissed her on her forehead. I heard my phone ringing so I grabbed it and answered it.
“Hello?”
“What are you wearing?”
I laughed at Nathan trying to be sexy.
“Well I’m holding a baby”
“Baby Annabelle?”
“Yes”
“Can I come over and see her?”
“Sure”
I hung up and went back downstairs to wait for Nathan. It didn’t take long until I heard the doorbell ring and I answered it. Nathan kissed me on my forehead and I invited him into the house.
“Can I hold her?”
“Really? Sure”
I handed Annabelle over and sat back and looked at them for a while. He was so cute holding her. I grabbed my phone out and snapped a few pictures of them. He grabbed me in and I took a few pictures with him and baby.
“Hey Nathan” Chad walked into the livingroom and sat down next to us
“Hey Chad”
Chad grabbed Annabelle back and lyed down with her.
“We will be upstairs”
I grabbed Nathan and we ran upstairs. I layed down on my bed but he stood at the entrance of my door hesitantly.
“Are you a vampire? Do I have to give you permission to come in?”
He laughed and walked in and sat on the bean bag chair.
“You wanna watch T.V.?”
“Sure”
I patted the empty spot on my bed and Nathan jumped on. I turned on the T.V. and One Tree Hill just so happened to be on. I looked at Nathan with a giddy smile and he laughed.
“You know that guys name is Nathan. He used to be a total douche bag but now he is a super cool dad.”
He smiled at me and then put his arm over me and held me. Katie came in not to long after and checked on us. Apparently, my mom didn’t want to be the bad guy.
“Just checking in. Nathan are you staying for dinner?”
“No I cant this time. I should actually start heading home.”
Katie left. He let go of me and he stood up. I followed him downstairs and outside to Greg.
“Our date is coming up”
“I know I’m so excited”
“I think I might change things up a bit. What do you think of a surprise?”
