Bill adjusted his bow tie and grinned maliciously as he made his way to the door. "Well hello there Mr. Pines" he said, holding the door open for Dipper.

"Uh, hello to you too, Cipher" Dipper stared at he grin before quickly walking into the house. Bill had invited Dipper over because the poor man wasn't really getting along well with the other..employees.

"Yes yes, the dining room is down there" he flicked his wrist towards it before striding off down a hall.

Dipper pulled at his jacket, he felt seriously underdressed, although Bill always wore a bow tie and etcetera. He pulled the chair out and sat down.

"I see you found it"

"It was right down the hall Cipher"

"Ah, call me Bill" Bill held his hand out and Dipper awkwardly took it.

"Alright, Bill"

Bill smirked and set down a plate for Dipper and a plate for himself. "How come you don't have spaghetti as well?"

"My mother fed it to me as a kid almost everyday, I grew sick of it after the first year" Bill stated casually and cut a bit off of what looked like steak and ate it.

"Oh..I guess that's a valid reason" Dipper looked down at his food and twirled the noodles around his fork slowly.

As Dipper played with his food Bill watched on in curiosity. "How is it?"

"It's fi-"

"You haven't even had it yet" Bill muttered and Dipper shrugged before eating some of it.

"Oh, this is pretty good" Dipper smiled and Bill's upper lip quirked up in a sneer. Dipper got quiet as he ate more of it.

"Yes, I suppose it is. The first few times I had it it was pretty good" he murmured and leaned back in his chair, his index finger tapping out the seconds.

"Why aren't you eating?" Dipper furrowed his brows and dropped his fork.

"I'll be eating later" Bill smiled calmly as Dipper pushed himself up and stumbled back, his vision progressively getting cloudier.

"W-What?" He fell down and could see Bill's shoes advance towards him and stop in front of his face.

"Goodnight Pines" Bill's foot moved back before it slammed into Dipper's jaw and the man blacked out.

--

"I think it's time to wake up"

Dipper could hear Bill's shoes clicking against the wood and then the sink turning on.

He opened his eyes slowly and looked around, trying to sit up but his arms wouldn't budge. Confusion flashed across his features and he struggled.

"I think you want to calm down" Dipper's eyes flashed to Bill who grinned and tossed a knife between his hands. "See, calm down and this'll go easier"

"Stay back!" Dipper shouted and struggled harder.

Bill tutted and stood before him, thwacking Dipper with the blunt side of the knife. "I said calm-" he stared at Dipper's eyes and stayed there.

"Uh"

"Your eyes" Bill dropped the knife and hopped up into the counter and put his hands on his cheeks. "Pine Tree"

"Uhhhh, who?" Dipper tried to avoid his stare.

"I thought... I thought you reached the end of your cycle" Bill whispered and sat back on his haunches, "two hundred years" he choked out and put his hand over his mouth.

"Uhm...." Dipper tried to move back more.

"Two hundred years Pine Tree!" He shouted and slammed his fist down by Dipper's head.

"Jeez!" Dipper stared wide eyed at him.

"Two-" Bill fell down on top of him and wrapped his arms around him, mumbling the last bit into his neck.

"Alright..." Dipper stayed still. "What do you mean by two hundred years?"

"Souls are recycled over the years" Bill murmured, "but I couldn't find yours" he bit his lip, "I thought your soul had been retired"

"Wouldn't that be good?"

"No.no you.." He made a quiet noise and looked at him, "you made me promise to stay with you forever.." He laughed weakly and looked away. "But if your soul had been retired I wouldn't be able to be with you anymore"

The human pursed his lips and looked at the ceiling, "I'll let you tell me more if you take the bonds off" he conceded.

Bill rolled off of him and stood next to him, snapping his fingers and the bonds disappeared. "There"

"And you have to make me a drink" Dipper added and Bill stared before nodding and walking to the cabinets and searching for a glass.

Dipper hopped down quietly and picked up the dropped knife, holding it tightly. "Thank you"

"What do you want,"

"Do you have any wines?" He asked casually and watched as Bill nodded and tried to reach the wine bottles. Dipper lurched forward and stabbed him in the back, he heard the gasp but he was already running from the crazed man.

Bill shuddered and reached around, yanking the knife out and dropping it, "pine tree..."

Dipper ran out the door and started to sprint away from the house.

Bill slid down the side of the counter slowly, a low laugh escaping him. He exhaled heavily and leaned his head back, he'd go after Pine Tree later.
