The New Girls

Chapter 22

Honeymoon. By definition celebrated by newly weds but Jeremy wouldn't allow it. After the attack on Stonehaven had gotten him jumpy. No one was here at Stonehaven anymore just the pack. Nick and I finally gave up trying to leave but Olivia had other ideas. She decorated our room in a beach theme with tan blankets to look like sand and blue curtain hung up. We couldn't help but appreciate the thought.

"Liv." I called calling her to our room.

"What?" She asked innocently.

"What's all this?" I questioned.

"Well I know that you really wanted a honeymoon and I know you wanted to redecorate. Thought I'd help with both." Olivia just smiled.

"Thanks." Nick said. "I mean it does look better then the plain white that surrounded the room before." He continued.

"I guess." I said glancing around the room.

All of a sudden one of the twins started kicking quite hard. I looked for the spot that you could actually feel it. Once I did I quickly grabbed Nick's hand allowing him to feel it too.

He was totally speechless.

"In a short eight weeks we are going to be parents of twins." I stated eagerly.

"January twenty-seventh right?" Nick asked.

"Yep." I replied. "Olivia's is March ninth." I added.

"This is all too crazy." Nick responded.

"I know." I exclaimed.

"Carter, Olivia will you come down here?" Elena called.

Olivia and I came out of our rooms and headed downstairs together.

"Since you both don't have a lot of girlfriends we decided to help you celebrate." Elena said as we came to the entire living room decorated for a baby shower.

Jeremy and Elena bought us a whole bunch of baby stuff since we needed most everything. Nick and Clay had a surprise of their own so they led us into a room across the hall. It was a nursery that Olivia decided what to get but didn't know they already did. All three of the babies had matching cribs and blankets. Each of them had a few stuffed animals in the crib.

"Levi?" I questioned the letters hanging above one of the cribs.

"It's the name we picked for him." Olivia said getting a little emotional.

"Oh, we haven't even thought of names." I admitted.

"Actually I have." Nick interjected handing me a list full of names.

Nick had a named pick out for almost every letter. I scanned over them picking four names for boys and three for the girls.

"I like Antonio, Caleb, Owen and Logan for the boy and for the girl I like Isabella, Riley, and Caroline." I replied. "Which one do you guys like?" I asked everyone.

"I like Antonio for the boy, to name him after your dad." Jeremy piped in.

"I like Logan and Isabella." Elena said.

"I like Owen and Riley." Olivia answered.

"I like Antonio and Caroline." Clay responded.

"What about a girl Jeremy?" I asked.

"I was thinking Cara but it's just a suggestion." Jeremy replied.

I thought about it for a minute and actually loved it.

"I love it." I said and turned to Nick.

"Cara." Nick repeated. "Definitely." He added.

"And for the boy?" Olivia asked.
