The New Girls

Chapter 2

Four months after that perfect day everything was going so well. I had a new job, Olivia and Clay moved in together. Nick and I were looking at apartments so we could move in together as well. My classes were going fine even after my financial aid was cut. Nick and Clay said they wanted to introduce us to their family. Clay had told me a few weeks before that he will propose to Olivia but around everyone at home. Nick and I were driving right behind Clay and Olivia.

"Are you nervous?" Nick asked me smiling.

"A little, I have never met someone's family before not like this." I answered.

"Don't be babe, you will be great, they will love you." Nick replied.

"That's from your point of view not theirs." I said, "and I've been sleeping with you." I continued.

"That's true but that's not why I love you." he answered, "We are here." Nick continued.

I was more nervous then ever before. I didn't know what they were going to think of me. I didn't have any clue who was there. When we got out of our cars, we slowly walked up to the house. Clay had told Olivia a long time ago that his ex Elena didn't have anyone but his family so she might be there. Nick told me not to piss her off for any reason. When we walked in, Jeremy was waiting to greet us.

"Hello girls, I'm Jeremy." he said nicely.

"I'm Olivia." Olivia replied shaking his hand.

"And I'm Carter." I added nervously.

"Please come in I'll make some tea." Jeremy said ushering us into the living room.

Nick and Clay followed Jeremy into the kitchen. I heard Jeremy say that Elena was upstairs and didn't know Olivia was coming today. Shortly after that I heard someone coming down the stairs. There was a very pretty blonde woman on the stairs.

"Who are you?" She asked quickly seeing me standing there.

"I'm Carter. You must be Elena." I answered politely.

"I am. Why are you here?" Elena questioned.

"I'm here to meet Nick's family." I replied, "I'm his girlfriend." I added.

"Oh right the Bailey girl." she said irritated.

"Yeah and I'm Olivia." Olivia interjected standing from the couch.

"Oh Clay's new girl." Elena answered.

Jeremy, Clay, and Nick rushed from the kitchen. Nick grabbing my hand leading me away from Elena.

"Elena stay calm." Jeremy said calmly.

"Why should I stay calm? She stole him from me." Elena exclaimed.

"Elena she didn't steal me. You became something I could never love after Phillip. I left you, I didn't even know her at the time." Clay said worryingly.

"I only needed time. First I lost Phillip then I lost you. I lost myself." Elena replied sadly.

"I gave you time, you didn't change." Clay answered.

After Elena heard Clay say that something started happening. Before I knew it Elena had turned into a wolf, with an evil eye for Olivia. Clay tried to jump in front of Olivia before Elena could get to her but it was too late. Elena had sunk her teeth into Olivia's arm. Clay quickly grabbed Elena by the neck and threw her to the other side of the room. Nick picked me up and ran upstairs.

"Nick! What are you doing I have to make sure Olivia's alright." I exclaimed, "Are you one of them too?" I questioned.

"Yes. I am. And your not supposed to know about us, Jeremy will try to kill you." Nick said.
