A week later Olivia and Clay were on their way back to Stonehaven. Elena and I were on a better basis than before they left, she said she would tone down the anger towards Olivia. Logan went back to his life in the city. Jeremy was leaning towards letting us go back to school in a few days.
"Elena you promised you'd be ok right?" I asked.
"Yes, I will. I'm not exactly gonna be buddy with her but I'll chill out on the fights." Elena replied.
Jeremy looked pleased with how great I was at calming Elena down even though I was closer to Olivia. Clay and Olivia walked in thinking no one would be at the door.
"Finally your home!" I yelled hugging Olivia.
"Oh jeez, yes I'm home but we weren't excepting a full family welcome." Olivia replied.
Clay grabbed their bags and took them upstairs. Olivia had her sling off already so it would be much easier for Elena to apologize. Elena stood up and walked in front of Olivia.
"Olivia, I'm sorry I risked your life over jealousy and I'm sorry I broke your arm before you left." Elena said trying to be sincere.
"I appreciate the apology, I hope we can put the past behind us." Olivia responded.
I was shocked at how civilized they were being but it didn't last long. Elena left again without saying a word, I didn't mind I wanted to know about Olivia's trip. I ushered Olivia upstairs and she started unpacking telling me all about it.
"Well, when we got there sweet Lizzie was there to greet us. She looked scared when she saw Clay because of his height I assumed. When Jesse met Clay he was like normal, the protective older brother who has to put any boyfriend on trial. After about an hour though things calmed down and they got along really well." Olivia said happily, "At dinner we all sat at their table and I announced our engagement. You should of seen the bitch's face when I was engaged before her.... priceless I swear!" she continued. "What about your great news before I left, how'd he propose?" Olivia asked impatiently.
"Well, if you must know, I went to my room after the whole broken arm thing and Nick had rose petals on the bed that spelled "will you marry me beautiful?" I was so surprised I couldn't speak so I shook my head yes and we just stood there in each others arms until Logan knocked cause I was crying." I answered happily.
"Oh my god! That's so sweet, he is just adorable." Olivia replied smiling brightly.
"So we got engaged super close now it comes to dates since Clay and you picked yours first we will wait until after. When was that though?" I questioned.
"We didn't actually pick and specify a date yet, we were gonna wait until we lived together longer and out of Stonehaven. I want us to have a summer wedding I know that." Olivia answered.
"So if you're waiting till summer I think Nick and I will do it in November like my parents." I replied, "maybe you should just do yours this June or July. Right after your birthday and in the summer." I added.
"That's what I was thinking but if we can't live out of Stonehaven before that then we might not. We just don't know yet." Olivia pointed out.
"Well if you talk to Jeremy, you could see if you could just have the wedding here like outside." I said hesitantly.
"But Jeremy has always said that Stonehaven is a sanctuary for us and that humans shouldn't be here." Olivia answered.
"Yeah, but you don't have that big of a family and not many people would actually come." I said, "I'll see what he says if it's a no then we can look somewhere else." I continued.
