The New Girls

Chapter 10

It's the thirteenth meaning that Olivia's twentieth birthday is tomorrow. I was still dealing with my brother's death. I had to eventually tell Aaron that our big brother was dead and I didn't know how I would get through that. I was still lying in bed with Nick beside me. I just stayed there for awhile gathering my thoughts before I slipped out of the bed. I threw my hair into a messy bun making my way downstairs. I got to the kitchen hoping for food to already be made but it wasn't. I put a bagel in the toaster as I went to look for everyone. Logan I know left late last night and Clay probably woke Olivia up so they could get ready for her party tomorrow. I couldn't find Jeremy or Elena which always worried me.

"Looking for someone?" Elena asked coming from nowhere.

"Yeah, actually I was looking for you and Jeremy. " I answered slightly startled.

"Well I am right here but Jeremy went for a run." Elena explained.

"Oh." I said as I heard my bagel pop.

I went into the kitchen grabbing the cream cheese from the fridge. I put a lot onto my bagel as Elena came into the kitchen.

"You eat a lot of cream cheese." Elena joked.

"I know but I am also real hungry right now. " I replied.

Nick came downstairs already dressed and had a bag packed to take back to our apartment. I looked at him sort of confused.

"Are we leaving already? " I questioned.

"I mean we don't have to leave right now but we should soon if we want to set up for the party tomorrow. " Nick answered.

"The party set up is handled I paid a decorater she's coming tomorrow at ten." I explained.

"Well I still want to sleep in our own bed for once." Nick insisted.

"Alright fine at least let me get dressed." I said as I headed upstairs.

We always kept some clothes at Stonehaven so we wouldn't run out if we ripped through them all. I threw on light jeans, a navy blue v-neck with a white spaghetti strap tank top underneath, and black converse. I grabbed a few snacks on my way out the door. I found Nick leaning on the camaro waiting for me.

"Took you long enough." Nick humored.

"Hey! A girl takes her time no matter where she is going." I said sarcastically.

"Yeah, can't leave without food right?" Nick asked sarcastically.

"Absoultely not. I am a growing werewolf I need my protein." I joked.

"Uh huh, what ever helps you sleep at night." Nick sarcasm continued.

*Two Hours Later*

"I hate how far away we live from Stonehaven I hate this damn car ride!" I complained.

"I know you do that's why I am smiling." Nick laughed.

"Haha, you think you're cool don't you?" I asked bitterly.

"Yes, yes I do." Nick laughed again.

"How much longer do we have?" I asked.

"Awhile, just take a nap." Nick answered.

I listened to Nick as my eyes drifted closed I felt Nick intertwine our fingers.

*Three Hours Later*

I slowly woke up as we pulled into our driveway. Nick parked the car and started taking the bags upstairs to our apartment. He didn't realize I was awake so after he took the bags inside he came to carry me in. I allowed for him to pick me up since I didn't want to walk. Once we were inside I opened my eyes back up.
