I was completely and utterly confused. Jeremy had my brother pinned in a corner and was about to kill him. I went on instinct jumping in front of Jeremy defending one of the last people in my family. Alex was cowering as small as he could get in the corner as I blocked Jeremy's way.
"Carter! Get back he has to be killed! he knows!" Jeremy yelled loudly at me.
I growled in response knowing he wouldn't back off. Olivia saw who it was fastening her self next to me also knowing I wouldn't budge. Olivia stayed there as I went outside to change into a human. Once I transformed completely I found one of my brothers shirts and shorts in a different room. I went back to the tension filled room that surely awaited me.
"What was that Carter?!" Jeremy screamed at me as I walked in.
"He's my brother, I couldn't let you just kill him..." I said back sternly.
"It doesn't matter if he is or not he knows about us and he shot you, he already admitted it." Jeremy barked.
"It matters to me, I have to know why he did all of this and then I will decide what exactly we do with him...I don't care if your alpha because this is my problem not yours..." I snarled angrily.
Jeremy didn't answer but followed suit quickly. I went over to Alex as Olivia stepped out of the way. I bent down to him as he was still cowering.
"Alex you can either come with us willingly or unwillingly, it's your choice." I stated.
"I'll come just don't do anything to me." Alex responded terrified.
"Clay." I said and pointed to Alex.
Clay walked over grabbing Alex from the back of the arms leading him to his truck about a half a mile up the road. We walked silently as Alex just looked down. I could see Nick getting angrier and angrier at Alex for what he surely did to me. I stepped to Nick and firmly grabbed his hand giving him a pleading look knowing he would give in. He squeezed my hand as reassurance he wasn't going to do anything. Olivia looked at me I'm disbelief. I tried walked to her but Nick wouldn't allow our intertwined fingers to break. Olivia saw this and walked to me instead.
"What was he thinking?" Olivia questioned quietly.
"I have no idea but we will find out soon enough." I answered.
It quickly returned to silence again. We walked for about five more minutes and reached the cars. Clay forced Alex into the back of his truck where he and Logan sat on each side. Olivia got Clay's keys turning the car on while Jeremy and Elena went in his car. The entire way to Stone Haven it was silence where you couldn't even hearing breathing. I turned on the radio to try and break the tension without success. When we got back to the house Clay pushed Alex towards the basement surely putting him in the cage.
"Ow!" Alex screeched as Clay pushed him too hard.
"Don't hurt him, not yet." I scolded.
"Sorry." Clay said to me ignoring Alex completely.
Clay finally got him downstairs and locked the cage firmly. I heard the steps he took as he came back upstairs. Olivia, Clay, Elena, Logan, and Jeremy looked at me worryingly.
"So what do you want to do?" Olivia asked.
"I don't know, first we are gonna let him just sit down there..." I stated.
"He needs to be eliminated he knows about us!" Jeremy barked.
"You're really gonna be the one to kill one of the only family members I have left!" I screamed.
Jeremy stayed silent while Logan and Elena looked at each of us confusion written on there face. I didn't know why everyone kept looking at me weird because I wasn't doing anything. I started pacing the floor thinking of what I was going to do with Alex. I wracked my brain for any ideas but came up with nothing, it was because everyone was constantly staring at me waiting.
