The Planetarium

"Okay in this beautifully decorated jar I have loads of different things we can do together." I explained, shaking the glass jar before her eyes. "So all the green ones have places to go like the cinema or the zoo. Red is specific activities like going for a jog and then the blue ones just say movie night and have movie titles on them because we spend like all our time doing that."

"Okay but what if I don't want to do whatever is on the paper?" my girlfriend - Demi - responds, shrugging with a smile.

"Then tough so just pick one Dem."

"Fine but why cant we just decide on where to go like normal people?" she grumbles, sticking her hand in the jar and pulling a green piece of paper out.

"Because this is more fun plus whenever I ask you, you just say I don't know and then we spend forever trying to think of something to do." I took the green slip off her and opened it

"Right and then we just give up on deciding, order a pizza and cuddle up to watch movies which is what I like to do Y/N."

My lips curled up into a smile "I like it too Demi. But we gotta be social sometimes babe"

"So where are we going then baby girl?" she asks

"Uh, the Planetarium." I read, knowing she probably isn't going to like that.

"Why the fuck did you put that in there? I don't wanna go to The Planetarium it'll be boring." Demi whined and I couldn't help but smile at how cute she was being, despite the brattyness

"Stop whining oh my god. It'll be fun, just give it a chance." She gave me a half-heartedly smile

"If you say so."

"It will, come on."

Demi moaned the entire car journey there which was something I partly expected but that didn't make it any less annoying. We made our way through the large double doors of the planetarium, my hand intertwined with hers. She turned to face me

"How long do we have to spend here?"

"Just one show my dear and then we can do whatever you want, okay?" I look around the room taking in the various displays

"Okay." Demi nodded eagerly "I know exactly what I want to do after."

She winked playfully and I roll my eyes before going to the front desk to buy tickets. A young man who has short brown hair stared back with a crooked smile, I pursed my lips

"When is the next show?"

"Around 10 minutes." He replied in a bored tone.

"Okay well, can I have two tickets, please?" I looked towards Demi and flashed her a soft smile. After paying for the tickets, I hear her sigh

"We have to wait 10 minutes, kill me now." she giggled, looking around the room. She walked off and I follow behind, thinking we may as well look around before going in. I stop to admire a display of a miniature rocket.

"Hey Y/N look!." My girlfriend calls, I turn unable to see her straight away.

"I'm here." She laughs. I turn in the direction of the voice to see her head on top of a cartoon astronaut. I walked over, chuckling to myself "Take a picture so I can show everyone that I went to the moon today."

I pull out my phone and held it up to face her, I watch her pose. She stuck her tongue out while grinning brightly. The flash went off capturing the moment, then she skipped over to look.

"You look cute." I comment, holding the phone for her to see.

"I can't see a thing, your flash practically blinded me." she chuckled "But I always look cute so I know you aren't lying."

"Very true" I mumble, kissing her on the forehead. I grab her hand and lead the way to the theatre. Taking our seats, the lights dimmed and I looked up. An overly bubbly girl began telling us all about space as the ceiling became a giant canvas displaying images to match her words. Demi gently placed her hand on my thigh and I didn't think much of it. I could feel her eyes on me followed by her soft lips connecting to my neck. Her hand began trailing up my thigh.

"Demi, what are you doing?" She didn't stop, instead intensifying the kiss. I bit my lip, trying to ignore the pleasure. Her hand tickled the inside of my leg as she made her way to the target. I jerk away, pushing her hand from my leg.

"Pay attention and stop being a tease" I whisper without taking my eyes off the moving images above.

"I wasn't teas-"

"Shhhh!" Someone called from behind us and I couldn't help but giggle. Demi's head fell onto my shoulder as the show continued.

"Pluto can reach temperatures as cold as -390° F" the overly cheerful voice announced

"Almost as cold as your heart, am I right Y/N?" Demi mumbled, quietly laughing.

"Hey!" I call in response but she just kept giggling. After the show, the room became illuminated once more and I squinted at the light. Demi jumped up out of her seat.

"Yay! Lets go." She declared. Standing up slowly, she pushed me out of the theatre room.

"Slow down." I state stopping in my tracks.

"Did you at least have a little fun?" She shrugged.

"I guess but now I wanna go have a different kind of fun."

"Wait before we go do whatever you have planned-" I notice her raise an eyebrow as I'm talking "Can I ask you something?"

She gave me a firm nod. "After everything we just learnt what's your favourite planet? Mine's Saturn. I'm guessing your is Pluto."

"Nah it's earth." She responded casually.

"Really? You picked your own planet." She nodded.

"Why?"

"Because I don't care much for planets but this one has something I love." I frowned in confusion but she just smiled at me brightly

"You silly." I felt a gentle tap against my nose. "I love you."
