The three are in a fancy dress shop—colorful gowns hang from racks, gleaming under mall lights. Aries stood in front of all the gowns but one gown caught her attention.

Her eyes locked on the white gown as it hung there, almost glowing against the wall. It looked more like a sculpture than a dress. She reached out, her fingers hovering just over the deep slit hidden within the folds.

'This gown is beautiful and elegant, maganda rin ang tela. But all this will be for nothing—it’s hard to wash out blood stains. Ayaa!'

Agad naman akong napalingon sa likod ko nang marinig ko ang matinis na tili ni Katana.

"Omgg! You guysss! Kore wa kanpekida!!" Masayang saad ni Katana habang hawak hawak ang isang kulay rosas na gown.

translation: Omgg! You guysss! This is perfect!!

Katana presses the soft fabric gently to her chest, her fingertips tracing the delicate lace trim along the neckline. The shade is perfect. The color’s not too bright, not too pale…it’s exactly the shade of cherry blossoms she’d admired during that trip to Kyoto with her mother the year before.

"Woahh! Ang ganda nga Katana, bagay na bagay 'yan sayo!" Natutuwang kumento ni Val.

"What do you think, big sis?" Masiglang tanong ni Katana kay Aries na sinuklian naman nito ng isang ngite at thumbs up.

"That dress will look good on you, Katana." Nakangiting saad ni Aries na mas lalong ikinalawak ng ngite ng dalaga.

"I'll definitely try this on—likee right now, I'll be right back guyss! Accckkk!! I'm so excited!" Masayang saad nito at impit na tumili.

Dali-dali itong naglakad patungo sa fitting room upang maisukat na nito ang napiling gown.

Napatawa na lamang ng mahina ang dalawang dalaga sa naging saad ni Katana.

"May napili ka na ba, Val?" Tanong ni Aries sa katabi.

"Hmmm, I'm not sure if I'll pick this one or this one. What do you think, big sis?" Tanong nito habang hawak-hawak na isang kulay asul na gown at isang kulay berding gown.

The blue gown has a corset top that fits neat and tight, with small laces running down the front. The neckline sits off the shoulders, but there are still thin straps tied with little bows that rest on top of them, the straps hold it in place while letting the shoulders show. The sleeves are loose and drape softly over the arms. The skirt is extra long and flows all the way to the floor. The fabric feels smooth and silky to the touch, and the soft blue color looks bright and fresh under the light.

While the emerald green gown has a corset top that fits snugly, with fine laces running down the front to shape the body. The neckline is round and sits neatly on the chest, while short off-shoulder sleeves drape softly over the upper arms, they’re just long enough to cover the shoulders without being bulky. The fabric is stiffer and holds its shape well. The skirt is long, fitting close to the legs all the way down to the knees, then flares out gently into a smooth, floor-length shape. Small green beads are sewn all over the dress, and when light hits them, they sparkle just like dewdrops on leaves and the hem falls perfectly to the ground.

'Hmm, both dresses are gorgeous, but I like the blue dress more in my opinion...' Saad ni Aries sa kaniyang isip habang nakatitig sa dalawang gown.
