"It's not that, we need to talk, about Gracie." Paul said like it was absolutely nothing. I felt something boil up inside of me. I turned to see Gracie looking at me with a slight look of concern on her face. She mouthed 'Is everything ok?' I nodded in her direction.

"Paul, I'm not discussing this with you. There's nothing to talk about." I said before hanging up the phone. I shook my head in disbelieve that he would even consider anything to do with Gracie. This had happened with one of Louis's girlfriends. Management had said that she wasn't "Magazine material" so they forced Louis to break up with her. He had been so upset about it and only did it because Paul threatened to end his career.

Gracie furrowed her eyebrows and looked concerned. I reached over and interlaced my fingers with hers and kissed the back of her hand. She smiled smally but the concern was still there in her eyes. I drove up the drive to our flat and was greeted by the delighted screams from our backseat.

Once we got into the house, I led the girls to the living room, where the guys were sitting around in their pjs, except Harry who, of course, was in his boxers. Emily and Skye were gaping at them. Harry stood up first and hugged both of the girls who couldn't believe that they had been just touched Harry Styles. The other boys introduced themselves as I helped Gracie with the snacks, putting everything in big bowls.

"So what did Paul need?" Gracie asked when we had finished. She pushed herself up onto the counter.

"It was nothing. Don't worry about it." I said thinking back to what Paul had said. I walked the short distance over to her and kissed her on her cheek she smiled, all trace of worrying gone. "Come on the lads are waiting." I said putting my arms around her waist as she slid off the counter.

We walked out to see the boys, Emily and Skye, sitting around the living room. I could see that Harry was already putting the moves on Skye and Niall and Emily sat next to each other, talking like old friends. It was just like them. Gracie and I sat down in front of the couch on the floor. My arms automatically snaked around her waist, her head leaned against my chest, while Zayn put the movie into the DVD player.

We didn't even get halfway through the movie when there was angry pounding on the door. We all looked away from the movie screen and towards the direction of the door. Before we could wonder much about it, the same pounding came from the window that was in behind the couch that we were sitting on. The pounding was followed by what sounded like screaming fans. This wasn't the first time this had happened. Niall and Harry must have had the same thought that I had. They jumped up and pulled Emily and Skye up with them. Gracie gave me a scared look as I pulled her up too.

"Go upstairs. Close all of the blinds and lock the windows." I said hugging her. "Don't worry you'll be fine." She jogged toward Zayn who was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs. They jogged up together, leaving me and Louis downstairs. We shared a split second glance before we started running around the house. I ran to the front door and locked the dead bolt as Louis did the same to the side and back door. We closed the blinds as quickly as possible and ran up the stairs. Everyone was waiting in the hallway for us. Louis dramatically fell to the floor and acted like he was out of breath. Everyone chuckled slightly, but the tension was still in the air.

Gracie hugged me around my waist and put her head in my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head as Zayn opened the door to his room and went inside. I could see him standing by his window, looking out of it in a way that would alway him to see outside without being seen.

"Liam, you might want to take a look at this." He said stepping away from the curtains. I slowly broke away from Gracie and toward the window. The sight outside absolutely astonished me.

Our entire yard was lined with crazy fans. And not one them seemed happy. Some held up signs that strongly disencouraged my dating Gracie. My mouth dropped as they chanted horrible things. Calling her a whore and a thief among other things. The only thing she was guilty of stealing was my heart.
