What it's like to be awkward.

Is this the plan of attack?

"C'mon" Elise turned on her heel to walk back around the corner, "we will look like we were spying, let's just go back to where we were and pretend we didn't see anything"

One of the many little voices in my head wanted me to run up to them and ask why the hell Crystal wouldn't say anything to us, but the others begged me not to make a scene and just go with Elise.

"Fine...but I'm not dropping it." I trudge after Elise

No sooner than we stop does Crystal come skipping around the corner like a little kid who had just been given a lollipop.

"Sorry about that guys, my dad called me so I had to quickly go to answer him, I know how untrustworthy you guys are...you would have made weird background noises!" She laughs before hooking our arms in hers and walking to the school gates.

I glance at Elise who has a stony expression plastered on her face. I probably have the same look on mine...

"Truth" Elise says lamely

"Oh come on! We both picked dare!" I screech throwing popcorn at her while all of us are giggling.

We are in Crystals bedroom, supposed to be watching a movie, but ended up playing a lame round of truth or dare.

"No way! There is no way I'm doing any more of your dares, bitches!" Elise shakes her head violently while crystal and I laugh, "I'm still trying to get this eyeliner moustache off of my face..." She tried scrubbing at it again.

"Okay fine, I'll do a boring one for you, miss lame ass" Crystal rolls her eyes at Elise.

"Okay Elsie-"

"Elise! My fucking name is Elise!"

"You are so fun to tease!"

"Piss off, get on with it" she grumbles

"Okay...who do you fancy?" Crystal wiggles her eyebrows at her-a talent I have always envied,

"Oh my god, we all know who she likes! This is such a bad 'truth' crystal" I point out

"I don't care, I'll do this one...I like Dan" Elise says proudly.

"Dan?" Crystal quirks an eye brow.

"Yeah, the really hot guy in the year above us"

"Ohhh that one, okay fair enough...Elise your turn to pick someone"

"Crystal, truth or dare" Elise inquires.

"Dare." She says confidently

"Pick again"

"Nope, I'm not a wimp, dare."

"No seriously, pick truth"
Elise says seriously.

I give Elise the look that hopefully says what are you trying to do here?

"Um okay...truth?"

"Who do you fancy?"

"No one..."

"I call bullshit! The big B.S, bullshit! We saw-"

"Elise!" I elbow her in the arm.

"What, you saw what?" Crystal says uneasily,

"You were all over Alex, we saw you" I blurt,

Even Elise looks horrified at my out burst, "sorry...I didn't mean it like that, but why didn't you tell us? We are meant to be your best friends..."

Crystal fiddles with her fingernails,

"...I thought you guys would know?"

"Sorry, but how are we supposed to know if you don't tell us?" Elise asks.

"I don't know! I thought you would have seen us holding hands or flirting or something...I don't know..."

Elise and I both give her an exasperated look.

"Have you told anyone?"
I think I asked the question Elise was about to because she nods along with me

"Um I did tell someone else, but she kinda forced it out of me, well not really she was there too...in the Skype call."

"A Skype call? That's romantic..." Elise laughs and so do crystal and I, despite the situation.

I can feel this stupid jealousy inside me. Why am I jealous she told someone else? It's shouldn't matter...she's telling us now? Granted, we made her, but still...

"Does your mum know?"

"Nope...I'll tell her when things get more serious"

"Okay then, cool, we are happy for you...now let's continue the game! Crystal it's your turn to ask Scarlett!"

You know, sometimes I really love Elise, she always knows what to say in awkward or hard situations, I think I was going to blow up just then...

"Okay, Scar, truth or dare?"

"Dare" I give them both a pointed look, "and no Elsie I'm not changing it."

"Elise." She grumbles

"Hm...I dare you to put your number in Nicks locker!"

Elise laughs along with Crystal and I flush red.

"No! I'm not doing that! No way, there is no way that-no! Nope, think of another one!" I rush out

"Dude! You're redder than a tomato! Calm down, oh my god!" Elise laughs at me and I smile

"I can't help it! That was a horrible idea and I'm pale-stop laughing!" I laugh with them.

"Okay, okay...but seriously that is actually really good, great idea Crystal!"

The two bitches high five and I mock glare them.

"I'm not, I repeat, not doing that."

"Fine, then I will" Crystal smirks at me.

"Actually...what the hell, let's do it..." I laugh

"Wait seriously?" Crystal asks in disbelief, "with a photo and number?"

"No! It has to be anonymous if we are doing this for real. No identity at all. Completely anonymous." I drill it into them so that they don't do anything embarrassing.

"And it has to be when no one is in the hallway."

"Okay, you pick the time, and I'll put it in, oh this is going to be so fun!" Her and Elise grin. In fact their smiles are so large that I'm afraid they will rip open...wait that's gross...and weird.

What the hell have I gotten myself into again? This will either be hilarious or embarrassing.

Sorry I took so long updating...again...this time I might upload two in the same night, since it's quite short. I'm not sure...
