'This looks amazing Bianca' said Sophie as she jumped up from the floor, the papers scattered around us. I stood up next to her and eyed our project, a smile appearing on my face.

'This is more than amazing, Soph. We make a great team' I said handing her a can of coke. she took it with a smile as she picked up her bag and phone, just as we heard a car horn beep outside.

'That's my mum, are you sure you want me to take it? We spent 3 months on this, I don't want it to get ruined'

'Take it, you live closer to college and at least your mum can drive you to college on the day of our presentation'. Sophie smiled at me and we laughed and joked as I walked her to the door of my flat, before I waved her off, shutting the door behind me when I saw her safely get in the car from my balcony.

'Done?'

I turned around and saw Celine standing there smiling at me, wiping her hands on a dish cloth. I smiled at her and nodded, following her into the kitchen and sitting on a bar stool.

'Glad it's over if I'm honest'. Celine nodded her head and turned around to put away her dish cloth before grabbing her coat to go off to work. Just before Celine left to go to work we heard the front door slam and footsteps run up the stairs, not even bothering to acknowledge anyone in sight. Celine shook her head sighing before kissing me on my cheek goodbye. I jumped off the counter grabbed two bottles of coke and made my way upstairs into Marcus's room, where Jade was sitting on her bed, on her phone, as usual.

'Hey' I said, dropping the coke down on to the bed before sitting down in the seat next to it. As per usual Jade didn't respond to be. The only response I got was from her continuous tapping from her Blackberry. I started fiddling with a strand from my jumper, twirling it around my finger, sparking up the usual one sided conversations I usually had with her.

'I finished my project today you know. It took a while but I'm glad it's done and it looks flipping amazing. Sophie is such an amazing artist' I looked up at her to see her looking blankly at me - her face void of any emotion what so ever. I stopped talking and watched her as she watched me and after a while she looked away from me and to the door then back at me, before going back to typing on her phone - giving me my cue to leave the room. I itched the back of my head and bit down on my bottom lip before nodding to myself and leaving the room, making my way to my own bedroom. This had happened ever since I got back from the hospital and I didn't know why. I thought she would understand now that she knew I had gotten raped, but she still failed to see my point of view, She still failed to see that I wasn't acting that way or this way on purpose. I just wanted her to see that I was trying to get things back to normal, but she just wasn't helping...at all. I stood outside my bedroom door and knocked loudly and after hearing a few girlish giggles and movement of a bed, Reece opened the door, his tshirt off and standing his a pair of basketball shorts.

'Hey babes' said Stephanie, sitting on my bed, her too short skater skirt twisted slightly so the seam was running up the middle instead of the side and her vest top un-tucked and wrinkled from being pulled from its original place. I smiled at her as I walked over to my side of the bookshelf pulling out my baking book and an old home DVD.

'You baking something?' asked Stephanie appearing next to me.

'Yeah, I was thinking of making rum cake' I said my gaze flicking over to Reece quickly. Stephanie smiled and nodded eagerly at me.

'Oh my gosh yes please! Reece that sounds nice right!!' she enthused running over to him and sitting down loudly next to him. Reece shrugged his shoulders smiling at Stephanie.

'Yeah it sounds decent, but I'm not really a big fan of rum cake' he said, turning to look at me whilst he said the last part, his smile seeming icy and cold as he watched me. I felt my eyes begin to sting and I sucked on my bottom lip, nodding at him, hugging my recipe book and DVD as I made my way out of the room. Just before I shut the door I turned to Stephanie and smiled.
