'Bianca can you hurry up please!' I heard Jade shout. I kissed my teeth and tightened the strap on my jelly shoes, before standing up and fixing my neon yellow spaghetti strap swing top and grabbing my bag, jumping down two at a time.

'I'm done, I'm ready' I said, flinging my jean jacket through the straps of my bag.

'It's about time! Did you want me to give birth on the concrete floor' she cussed, wincing once more feeling another one of her contractions. 'JESUS, our lord saviour' she said through gritted teeth.

'Oo the contractions are getting closer, we better get a move on' said Auntie Joy, grabbing her car keys and jacket off the table. Jaden picked up Jade's overnight back and followed closely behind, muttering to himself.

'I swear the pushing needs to not hurt as much as these contractions' said Jade as she slipped into the front seat of the car.

'It won't' I replied,

'Oh I'm sorry, have you given birth before?' replied Jade sarcastically, before wincing one more time. I flinched at her comment and felt my stomach drop a little, remembering that I was never going to feel the kind of pain Jade felt, or the anxiousness of Jaden, but I pushed the thought to the back of my head and made a mental note that this day wasn't about me, but about Jade & Jaden and the new life that was about to enter into this messed up world. I'll just blame Jade's comment on her pain.

We reached the hospital 10 minutes later, all of us rushing out of the car and into A&E, where a nurse took Jade, undressing her into a robe before quickly rushing her to a room. Because of the amount of space required and because of how heavily dilated Jade was, only two people were allowed in the birthing room at once, so I sat outside whilst Jaden and Auntie Joy tried their best to console a dramatic screaming Jade. After 20 minutes of sitting outside I saw the twins, Layla and Reece walking down the corridor towards me.

'How is she?' asked Layla running up to hug me. I was about to open my mouth when we all heard Jade shout at someone - most likely Jaden. I turned back around to them.

'Well...there's your answer'

'I didn't know you could swear that loudly in a hospital' said Kadeem taking a seat next to me.

'You most probably cant, but since when did Jade give two shits' replied Akeem leaning on the wall playing with his car keys. I looked up at Reece who was busy typing away on his phone - to who? I couldn't of even guessed. We haven't spoken properly since Layla's party and when we are in each others company he either pretends I don't exist or tries his best to avoid any type of conversation with me. After a week of him acting like this, I moved back in with  Jade and Auntie Joy, sleeping with my Aunt to still give Jade and Jaden their space. His mum and Marcus didn't want me to go, but there was no way I was staying in that house and in the same bedroom as someone who refused to even look at me. Whether or not me moving out made things worse, I actually don't know, it was like he had shut me off completely for not telling him about Kieran, but I didn't do it for selfish reasons, I did it to stop any fights occurring - and that's not selfish...is it?

'Hey Reece' I said getting up and standing next to him, whilst the others talked among themselves, pretending not to listen. I watched as he scrolled through his iPhone completely ignoring me. I sighed inwardly - ever since he got his iPhone and Marcus bought him a car, he's been harder to reach - I don't have his new number and the only place I can contact him on is twitter since I don't have Instagram due to me still sporting a BlackBerry, and even then he still hasn't followed me back. Going over to his house is no use either, cause unless its 6 in the morning or 11 at night this boy is never at home.

'Are you excited about being a Godparent?' I asked, trying one more time to have a civil conversation.
